This condo is awesome. Off the beaten path , quiet, huge 2bdrm 2bath , great pool, great view, a lot of space to stretch out and everything you could ask for in the kitchen and with the beach gear etc.
We are here in Oct. it’s hotter than snot in Kona and this place has no AC. Not even a split
Unit. It’s hot. Like really hot. Not sure how it would be in the dead of summer. Luckily there is a pool and fans but if you don’t do well in extreme heat not sure how you would do here. The beauty of the condo makes it easier to sit and sweat which is fine. There was one night that was unbearably hot. I would stay here again and be choosy with my dates. This building is 1980s built and from what I saw none do the units have AC but I am not sure. Other than that it was epic but it was hot.

We have rented many condos in Hawaii and this was the most well stocked and comfortable unit ever! The bed is alway my worry but both beds in this unit were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels, beach amenities, and soaps (like laundry detergent, shampoo, etc.). The kitchen was also very well stocked with quality cookware, knives, spices - things that make cooking easy and enjoyable. The condo was nicely furnished inside and on the lanai. The lanai was a great place to enjoy meals, sunsets and watch occasional golfers - it was very private and serene. Our elderly parents stayed with us for a few days and the fact this was a second story unit with no stairs to enter from the parking lot was quite a bonus for us. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Punahele E202 and look forward to staying again soon!
