Property Description
Hale Lanui is located across the street from the ocean and has sweeping unobstructed views of the ocean and sunsets. This two story 2700 SF home is located on a residential street and has a swimming pool (lots of beach towels) and Jacuzzi for total enjoyment. There are outdoor areas to enjoy both sun or shade.
There are 4 bedrooms with king beds in two (one upstairs bedroom and one downstairs bedroom), two bedrooms have long boy twins which can be made up as kings if desired. We also have a queen size sofa bed in the game room upstairs.
3 large bathrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs, great open kitchen with lots of cookware, dishes and appliances. Sub Zero refrigerator in the kitchen and an additional refrigerator in the mud/pool room. There are two washers & 2 dryers, clothesline and the outdoor dining area will seat 12 nicely. Chaise lounges are by the pool and also on the upper deck for your enjoyment.
Flat screen TV in the living room and one in the upstairs game room. A/C in living room and every bedroom . Ceiling fans throughout. Maid service is provided before and after your stay. Local and long distance calls within the US and Canada are no charge. There is a safe located on each level of the home to place valuable items in and the home has a security system. Secured cable WiFi connection is provided.
Hale Lanui is located within 5 minutes of a sandy beach, 5 minute walk to Starbucks and 10 minute walk to the Foodland grocery store. A wonderful Farmer's Market with fresh produce is located 2 blocks away the the library is within walking distance also.
The onsite manager lives in the small home on the street and greets you on arrival to share with you all of the amenities and features of Hale Lanui and is available during your stay, if needed.
Provided are all cleaning supplies, soaps , laundry detergent and paper products. The spice cabinet is very complete if you enjoy cooking.
South Maui, the area where Hale Lanui is located has golf, tennis (public courts next door at the Kalama Park), whale watching, in season, water sports and walking.

Well appointed and fantastic location. Wonderful sunsets and loved watching all the goings on in the park next door. The private pool was like our own little oasis. Would definitely recommend to any group going to Maui.

Overall our stay at this property was amazing. The location was perfect for our group and was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The onsite property manager was very responsive and addressed all of our questions/concerns throughout our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Kihei VRBO. The home was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of bedding, towels and the kitchen was fully equipped. Water pressure and temperature were good. There is a covered patio area downstairs, just off the kitchen and an open lanai upstairs. The family / game room upstairs has a pool table and a variety of games, books and puzzles. The home is situated at the edge of a park with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed the daily traffic of walkers, runners, cyclists and soccer players in the park. Our entire family was comfortable here: four adult couples and a toddler. Be aware there is a pool and a spiral staircase to be attentive to with small children. There are several food and shopping options within walking distance. The onsite property manager is located a next door. She was readily available and helpful, but never intrusive. We all agreed the house is even better than the photos. We would gladly rent this home again.

This house is the most well-stocked of any we have ever rented. The setting is on a lightly used park that is on the ocean. We saw many whales in early January. It’s convenient to Kihei but just far enough away to be out of the bustle. The property manager was excellent and quickly responded to our needs. The immediate beach is rocky but sandy a little to the south. Overall- spectacular!

This home and property was amazing!!! Our kids absolutely loved the pool and everyone enjoyed the pool table. Being next to the park was perfect for the kids. They were able to play football at the same time just being right next to the ocean. We were able to watch the sunset every evening. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable vacation!!!

We stayed at this beach front property with a large family group- it was great. The location was amazing- we spent most of the time in the large balcony just outside the kitchen-enjoying a wonderful view of the ocean, gorgeous sunsets.
The house had ample space for 9 people in our group and the kitchen was wonderful-fully stocked with utensils and cutlery.
The pool was great- the kids enjoyed it a lot. The beds were comfortable.
Proximity to tennis courts and the park next to the house- all added to options for the kids to have a good time.
Overall- we had a good stay.

We had 7 adults staying at the property.
The house had beautiful, well maintained grounds and the location was very close to cafes, shops and the beach. We enjoyed walking through the park where we saw beautiful sunsets and the turtles in the ocean.
The facilities and contents provided very much met our needs.
The instructions and information sheets provided could be improved and updated - eg info sheets, alarm system, tv’s..

This house and location were very close to heaven! We were a family group of 7 with one 3 year old. Everyone was comfortable and happy. The location is incredible with a big beautiful park just next door and the ocean a few feet away.
The manager lives next door and was johnny on the spot when we needed some help. We will definitely choose this house on our next visit.

Overall great property, with amazing view & we saw turtles daily. The home was clean with beautiful artwork but could use some TLC and furniture updates. The park next door was concerning in the evening due to homeless that appear to live there. Nothing happened but something we did not expect that on a dream vacation to Maui.

This property is amazing. Location is directly across the street from the ocean and adjacent to a lovely park. Within minutes of stores and shops by foot. The home itself was amazing and we really enjoyed the pool. Communication with the property owner and mgr was easy and prompt. Would def like to return.
