Loved our stay at the unit! Have stayed in Ka’anapali a number of times but this was my favourite location to date. Would absolutely stay here again.
I don’t have a negative thing to say about this property. Super easy check in, walk out of unit and 1 minute walk to beach, a couple minutes to walk to Whaler’s Village, and around 5 minutes to walk to Black Rock. Plenty of restaurants within walking, but we explored all over the island. Condo has three beach chairs in closet, but lightweight beach chairs are available to grab and take right by beach. Washer and dryer very close to room and free - laundry pods in closet. Dish washer pods under sink, coffee maker and filters. We stay in a lot of condos and this was so well stocked. The beach in front of property was sandy and beautiful, we saw a turtle, dolphins, possibly manta rays and a monk seal! Owners are super responsive. I pray to be able to return to this beautiful place in the future. Mahalo!

This was our first time staying at the Whaler. Typical we stay at the Westin on the other side of the Whaler shopping area. Upon entering the unit we were more than pleased with what we found. The owners have thought of everything you might need and the unit is beautifully decorated and updated. The location proved to be one of the best on the property. It provided easy in and out access to all the amenities as well as the washing machine and garbage drop.we hope to return to this unit at least once or twice a year.
This place is exactly as advertised. Well equipped and the location is excellent. We were there for a week so it was perfect for us with just two people.
We enjoyed being close to so many restaurants and the beach. Convenient for whale and sunset cruises.
Very lovely studio condo. Updated and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our 3 week stay very much - we felt very much at home and welcomed by the owners. Everything we needed was provided for us and then some. We would definitely stay in this unit again! As always, the Whaler is the best place to stay on Kaanapali Beach in the best location.
We’ve stayed in Maui (Kaanapali) a# of times. 3rd time @the Whaler, 1st time staying in this unit. Would 100% stay again! The small communication we had w/owners was courteous &timely. Unit was just a described &lovely. Caretaker takes pride in her work. Whaler staff, Mimi & Dexter are absolutely lovely &gave us a very Aloha welcoming. If this unit is available again during our travels, would love to stay here again pls. Big big Mahalo & Happy New Year, Laurel : )
The condo is more than we could have asked for! The location couldn’t be better. So easy to literally walk next door for restaurants, shopping or a nice cocktail. The condo is just as listed, has everything you need and so clean. The owners were so easy to communicate with. Definitely would stay again!

The location of the condo makes for the best vacation in Maui! The condo is spacious, comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything you need. Beautiful beach just a few steps away and excellent food at the local restaurants! Great hosts who make you feel warm and welcome, thank you!

We had another great stay at Laura and Jim’s condo at the Whaler! Perfect location being ground level and being able to enjoy the grass and landscaping, get morning coffee quickly, not have to deal with elevators and get to the beach in a matter of seconds. Condo is stocked with all the beach and kitchen supplies you need! Beautiful decor and most importantly, a very comfortable bed! Thanks again!
Excellent well maintained the staff was awesome. The only problem we had was the lack of toilet paper & paper towels. We ran out of both & had to supply them.
This was our second time staying in this unit. It’s in even better shape now than the first time we stayed and it was great the first time. Everything was clean and in great condition. We loved having the beach chairs available. Truly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again next time we return!

It was perfect from start to almost finish. The condo was exactly what we needed but we escaped the island on Tue 8/8/23, the day of devastating fires and lives lost. We hope to be back to this condo and all of its amenities and realize the island needs time to heal and rebuild. Love and prayers to all🙏.

So close to the whalers village, lots of restaurants and shops, super close to the beach, the room has all that you need plus many more amenities. Great communication with the property manager, this room is perfect for kids, being on the lower level gives the kids chance to play and run on the outdoor patio, definitely recommended and we will come back!
