Overall the house was very nice. Could have been cleaned a little better there were lots of spider webs all over all the lamps and such. Very nice to sit on the lanai although the outdoor furniture could use some new cushions, Good location for all things north shore, kitchen was good to use and grocery near by. We locked ourselves out and the owner quickly brought us help. While each room does have a ceiling fan and one room had an airconditioner it still got very hot in the house. Bathrooms were nice. Nice to have beach chairs
Great location close to shops, restaurants, walking paths and beaches. House very comfortable for 6 adults to enjoy time and not on top of each other. Screen lanai was perfect for daily coffee and playing cards. Outdoor shower was such a great addition. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, fantastic open feel and comfortable seating all over. Beautiful back yard.
We are a family of 3 that absolutely loved our stay! The home was spacious, clean, serene, had everything we needed. Walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, and the Saturday farmer's market in Princeville. I would recommend it 100%.

All the homes in the area are well maintained must have a strong HOA. The neighborhoodJuat is very quiet except for the rosters in the morning but after a day or two you laugh about it. Good walking paths, close to a park pickle ball and golf and of course the beaches with all the great view’s.
The property is wonderful. The location is great if you want a quiet, peaceful environment with great beaches. We had to travel to the west side for a helicopter ride, and the south side for a luau and boat tour. There are some boat tours from the Priceville area but we wanted a larger boat for our 86 year old mother which was only available at the south shore. They seem to do a lot of road work after the Labor Day weekend so our travel to the west and south shores was very slow. But, despite that minor inconvenience, we had a wonderful 10 days in Princeville at a very well-equipped and comfortable home. Thank you!
Our family loved this house. Clean, comfortable, close to everything and ton of amenities including all the beach equipment! House stayed cool during hot days thanks to multiple ceiling fans. Lanai is to die for. You won't regret this stay.
This home was wonderful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better home to spend our time! The screened lanai was a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee. The beds were so comfortable and the home had all of the amenities to make our trip comfortable and easy. It’s also just a couple minute walk away from the weekend farmers market which was so convenient and fun. One thing to be mindful of was the home did not have air conditioning. It would have been nice to have, but we were out most of the day and the fans in the bedroom did a great job of keeping us cool at night. I would absolutely love to stay there again. Great choice for your north shore Kauai vacation!
Bev and Joe's place was perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed and pretty much had everything we needed - loved the great beach towels! Quiet neighborhood. Location is ideal with 5-15min drive to multiple awesome beaches. Easy walk to the park or to the Princeville shopping center if we needed something. It took a day or two to get used to no air-conditioning, but once we did it was really quite lovely. The home can get a bit hot and stuffy in the late afternoon but the fans do help.
We loved our stay here on the island of Kauai. This house was perfect for our family of five. It was great to come home to after a day at the beach. There were lots of beach supplies in the garage. The kitchen was roomy enough for us all to work in there at the same time. The whole house was thoughtfully decorated in a Hawaiian theme. The beds were comfortable. One thing to note: there is no air conditioning. We were a little hot when we first arrived, but got used to it and used the ceiling fans and open windows to create airflow. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We immensely enjoyed our visit. The house was amazing, clean, beautifully landscaped and equipped with all the amenities you would need including snorkeling gear, towels, and boogie boards. It’s close to Hanalei which is our favorite little spot.

My friend and I have been best friends for 75 years. We started coming to Hawaii seven years ago to celebrate our 70th birthdays. We were in Maui the last six, but were so close to the devastating fires we couldn’t bear to return. We are so happy we chose Kauai and this beautiful home to stay in. We truly felt the Hawaiian experience while living there. Sitting on the lanai in the mornings with our coffee and evenings with our wine was magical. The backyard was full of lush greenery, flowers, date palms, tropical plants…and we must not forget the chickens and roosters that Kauai is “famous” for. The house itself had all the amenities one could need. The furniture and wall hangings looked like vintage Hawaiian. We had a couple of little glitches, but Bev immediately took care of them. Dean, the handyman, was just great! It was located in a very convenient spot close to the Kuhio Highway which we used to get everywhere we needed to go. We are planning on returning next year. We are so happy we chose this little piece of paradise.
We stayed 6 nights and we loved the house. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in patio and had breakfast every morning on the patio. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and that was great because we cooked a lot. Location of the home was good and was close to the town of Princeville. We enjoyed the Farmer’s market on Saturday. It was only about a block to walk to it. We definitely will return to this island and stay in this beautiful home.

Our family of 4 adults had a wonderful stay here. Everything was so well considered, exceptionally clean. The flow of the house and it’s decor has a lovely relaxed feel, light & breezy. We very much enjoyed the garden & family bocce challenge in the afternoons. Lovely lanai outlook over beautiful tropical garden. Close to the village shops - 5 minute walk & short drive to Hanalei Bay. Check in and out easy and host Bev & Joe easy to communicate with. A wonderful location to enjoy. Thank you Bev & Joe.
We loved the house and found it fit our family needs very well. Being close to a grocery store was very convenient. We loved the lanai and all the vegetation around the house, felt very private. We even enjoyed the roosters. Communication with Beverley was prompt and she made sure a minor issue was immediately taken care of.
Exactly as described. Very comfortable and very clean. Three bed, two bath, great living room and kitchen with an excellent backyard. Could not have found a better place for a young family. If you stay here, you will very likely be pleased.
The Princeville house is as advertised - spacious, tastefully decorated, and in one of the best and most convenient parts of Kauai. Though not a recent construction and showing some signs of age, this was a perfect base for our group of four (parents + teen + grandmother) that provide just the right mix of relaxation and accommodation. The Princeville location can't be beat for its access to the North Shore and convenience (walking distance to supermarket, plenty of routes for morning or evening exercise in the neighborhood). This would definitely be my top choice for any future Kauai visits.
We had the best experience at this home. It was perfect for our family and exceeded our expectations. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, it was close to a grocery store (Foodland), a short drive to different beaches and there was plenty of things to cook with. We loved the screened lanai and spent a lot of time out there. Definitely recommend.
