Sit on your veranda. Watch the breaking waves. Look for rainbows, dolphins and whales while they travel along the coast. You have a spectacular ocean view, from Poipu beach Park all the way up the west coast to Niihau Island, from the living room, bedroom, and kitchen. Take a 5-minute stroll to Poipu beach Park. Have breakfast, lunch, or a shave ice from the local deli. Dinner and cocktails at the beach front restaurant. A nightly arrival of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles who rest on the beach. On many occasions, up to 12-15 turtles can be found nightly, sometimes more! It is a great place to have a picnic, snorkel and has the best surfing waves in the south shore....

We had such a wonderful time in Poipu! Shirlene’s place was perfect for our vacation. Walking distance to the beach where we saw multiple turtles. Beautiful views of the sunrises and sunsets. And she provided all of the beach gear we needed including chairs, an umbrella, cooler bag and an insulated beach bag. Highly recommend!

The location of the property is fantastic. Just a quick walk down the hill to two great beaches. Brenneke's Beach doesn't have reef protection, so it gets some big waves to play in. Poipu Beach, literally steps away, is much calmer due to the reef and this is where the sea turtles come out in the evening. Very cool.
The property is nice, with a view of the sea and you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks all night. We were greeted with a nice welcome postcard and complimentary bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. Probably the most powerful showerhead I've ever experienced, it was wonderful!

Beautiful view and less than 1/2 mile walk to the beach. Plenty of room, well equipped and reserved parking at the property. Enjoyed our stay, would book again.
