The property was the best for a three generation family vacation. Three bedrooms with three bathrooms works perfectly. There was plenty of space for everyone. We had everything we needed. The kitchen worked out well for our meals. Lots of room for sitting on the lanai. The koi fish were a great hit with the small kids. The pool was perfect for families to be together. There was lots a space so you were not crowded. The beach is so close and the grounds are well kept. We had the best time. Thank you!

We’ve stayed at the Villas before, but this unit was our favorite so far. It was perfect for our party of two small families. The kids love the access to the lagoon and playing in the pool after sunset. Us adults heavily invested in the poolside bar everyday as well. The only issue we had with the unit itself was that there was no rice cooker. Luckily we asked ahead of time and brought one. One suggestion we’d make is to add a rolling beach cart. Some of the beach chairs had broken or problematic straps, and when the kids were tired and not so helpful at the end of the day - a cart would have been great. The parking situation was a little weird to us at first as well. You’re assigned very specific spots, which is understandable - but one of our two assigned spots were very far from our unit (like under a whole different building). Our main concern with that was the complaining and griping that would come from tired kids. We were told we couldn’t switch and accepted it - but since our lanai overlooked the parking lot, we saw nothing but an empty lot all week. Overall, we loved our stay here - and this property continues to be our favorite. Since we come annually, we look forward to returning here again.

Overall it was a good experience…. But there were a few things. Given this property was on the low end price wise we expected this.. This villa is acceptable but far from perfect. KoOlina is a beautiful resort community. The lagoons are perfect for small children. The villa had beach chairs and plenty of boogie boards and toys for kids. We had plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. •Our assigned parking spot was in a far corner of the parking garage. It was an inconvenience and an annoyance. •The kitchen was adequate for our daily breakfast and a few lunches. We expected to be able to use the community bbq and had even purchased meats for grilling. Unfortunately the villa did not have any of the tools required for grilling, such as a metal spatula. •The carpet and furnishings are quite worn. •We were traveling with a three year old who takes baths rather than showers. The stoppers in both bathtubs were unusable. We reported this to the management company who attempted a fix but the tub still drained unless someone stood on the stopper. •The clothes dryer is not vented (?) causing it to take forever to dry. •We were originally advised that our check out time would be 11:00. One we arrived we were told we needed to leave by 10:00. After much back and forth, during which we provided a copy of the signed contract, the management company agreed that the check out was in fact 11:00.
