Kihei Bay Surf #204 is a top/second floor studio with a peek-a-boo ocean view, split-system air conditioning, a fully-equipped kitchen (excluding dishwasher), a large flat-screen TV, and free wifi. There is a comfortable queen bed and ceiling fans as well. The bathroom provides a shower. For outdoor activities, Kihei Bay Surf Studio #204 is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. This unit is in a great location - right across the street from the ocean! Kihei Bay Surf has a swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, and coin-operated laundry room. Sleeps 2.

Many blogs recommend staying in Kihei but I wouldn’t stay in this area again. Kihei Bay Rentals is opposite the whale conservation centre and where turtles come to sun themselves every morning. The beaches are everyone’s favourite viewing spot for the sunset. There are parks with bbqs and I saw a court for paddle ball. Yet, there are no walkable amenities around Kihei like restaurants, shops, petrol station etc. If you want that walkable vibe of shops and restaurants and other necessities stay in Paia. Unless you’re walking on the beach, you can’t go for a walk around Kihei. The footpath runs out and you either have to cross the road or walk on the narrow road. The unit was ok. For someone with sensitive skin it wasn’t clean enough and had me break out in eczema which I haven’t had for two years. Eg- doing yoga on the carpet I was covered in sand indicating the carpet was not thoroughly vacuumed. During my yoga I saw half a pack of lollies, lipgloss and other things under the couch and bed which shows evidence of inadequate cleaning. Each time I would sit or lie on the couch I got bitten & an eczema breakout. You might be okay if you’re not allergic like me. The towels were good so I used them to cover the floor and couch. The kitchen has everything including blender, rice cooker. you’ll have to bring condiments and oil if you want to cook or flavour your food. The bed was too soft, it left a dent of me despite being 60kg. The AC was so loud I used earplugs to sleep.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was okay. Needs a lot of upgrades. Broken ac and couldn’t open the window/patio door, it was hot and really needed some fresh air in there. Luckily I wasn’t there much of my trip
