Welcome to The Surf Hale! Part of the Kuilima Estates East community, the unit was designed with an “Elevated Surf Aesthetic” in mind. Guests will enjoy the gallery style walls featuring gorgeous original art and boards from around the world, contrasting wood tones and pops of color from the meticulously curated surf art installation.
The Surf Hale is a spacious and comfortable two bed, two bath surfer's paradise. The interior sleeps a maximum of 4 people with one king size (master bedroom) and one queen size bed (upper loft). You are allotted one dedicated parking stall along with guest parking should you have visitors.
Amenities include a flat screen TV, sofa, free WIFI, in-unit full size washer/dryer, air conditioning (bedroom/loft), and ceiling fans in all living spaces. There is a dedicated workspace (standing desk/adjustable) for remote workers and high-speed WiFi. The gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances is fully stocked for cooking and includes a stovetop, microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans, cooking utensils/knives, cups, plates, bowls, and utensils. In addition, the complex has tennis/pickleball courts and an outdoor pool that guests can access for swimming, tanning, BBQ, and relaxing.
The unit sits just a five-minute walk from the beaches at Turtle Bay Resort. Turtle Bay is also home to island famous restaurant Lei Lei’s, Roy's Beach House, Alaia, and with a world-class golf course for playing in the sun. It's prime location also allows for a quick drive to check out the rest of Oahu’s North Shore treasures including but not limited to beaches, hikes, antique/souvenir shops, thriving foodie/food truck scene, and the Polynesian Cultural Center all within ten minutes. The Surf Hale’s location presents numerous options for making lifelong memories, while also stationed away from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a unique and relaxing experience.

PRO: One big positive I would say is the loft has the option of closing it off and offers really good privacy especially if you are 2 couples. The washing machine and dryer are nice & work well but note that the dryer does not vent to outside and creates a humid/hot environment when running.
CONS: We arrived for our 4 night stay around 5:00 pm and all needed showers and had somewhere to be or otherwise I would have immediately reached out to management. The main bathroom was dirty. The kitchen was also dirty. Worst part was the rotting food in the dishwasher. We were reimbursed the cleaning fee. Not related to the cleanliness the only other drawback was no AC in the main living area. Only window units in the bedrooms.
I would possibly consider staying in the area again but the value was not great IMO. Yes, I know it’s Hawaii but still. Averaging over $600 a night for this was not great.

This place was exactly as advertised and pictured. Clean, well stocked and conveniently located just a few blocks from turtle Bay resort, we enjoyed our time at this beach themed condo. A little hot in the living area has because the AC units were only in the bedrooms.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. It is an open and bright space that is incredibly pleasant. The check-in process was extremely easy. The area is very quiet so it’s perfect for someone looking for a relaxing stay. The only downside is that when we arrived, there was stool in the toilet which raised the question of if the condo was completely cleaned and sanitized beforehand. When we called management about this, they responded very quickly and had the bathroom cleaned and sanitized. Despite this, we would stay there again.
