Ryan’s property is exactly as advertised in the listing. It’s an older condo that has been very well kept and tastefully remodeled. Super clean. The grounds at the condo were a nice surprise as well, very lush and with a clean pool/hot tub. Ryan provided all the basic beach gear we needed so we didn’t have to buy chairs and an umbrella and towels. Communication with Ryan was straightforward and easy. We never had a reason to reach out as we had all the pertinent info at hand. Checkin was seamless. I had to monkey around with dates and he was accommodating and understanding and easy to deal with at all times. The only negative about this condo is that it’s about a mile or two from restaurants and shops, so a rental car is an absolute must (tbf that’s true nearly everywhere in Kihei). It’s not so bad though. The beach is across the street and anything on the island is within a thirty minute drive. Being in north Kihei is actually a huge positive if you plan on exploring Lahaina, Paia, drive to Hana, etc. since you save ten minutes drive each direction. So, how you feel about the location will be more a factor of your plans. We had six people total (5 adults and an infant) and fit just fine, although I would advise no more than four adults since one of the beds is a pull out. That info is all in the listing and exactly as advertised, just be mindful if you’re looking to bring three couples as it would definitely create a lord of the flies rush for the bedrooms on arrival ;) Also would recommend new towels as the ones that are currently there are worn out/bleach stained (albeit very clean!). I’m really scraping the bottom of the bucket for gotchas when a stained towel is worthy of mention! Overall the place was super clean and well kept and all of the basic necessities incl spices, TP, coffee stuff, etc was provided. All in all? Easy five stars and would recommend this place wholeheartedly, and Ryan as well.
