This recently renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo in Hilo is beachfront next to Carlsmith Beach Park where you can swim and snorkel all day every day and get up close to the sea turtles! Your home-away-from-home has everything you need for the perfect getaway or extended vacation. The living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day sight-seeing around the Big Island, with TV, cable and unlimited high-speed internet. The kitchen is well-equipped with ideal for making those scrumptious island meals using all the goodies you picked up at the Hilo Farmer's Market. Eat inside at the dining table, or outside on the lanai and let those island breezes take you away. One bedroom has a king size comfortable bed, second bedroom has a full bed and bunkbed tween bed. The laundry facility can be located at the end of the corridor. There are complimentary quarters in the jar in the kitchen.

You have access to the shared-use pool on the ground floor.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very cute like a studio feel, but has separate rooms. No AC, but not needed as there were fans everywhere and nice ocean breeze in morning and night if you open up the windows. Only drawback is the washer and dryer is outside unit and shared, but we were able to do one load during our stay. Close to majority of things to do in Hilo area, 10-20mins away.

Don’t do it. Sparse furnishings. lacking basic kitchen needs and it looks like the kitchen was furnished from Goodwill. Needs curtains on the sliding door glass wall in the living room/dining room/kitchen area (to keep out the afternoon heat). Extremely noisy primarily from the straight pipe cars and loud motorcycles and also the heavy truck traffic. It wouldn’t quiet down until late in the evening and starts up very early in the morning. The park view is nice and there are three free standing fans to circulate the air.

Booking through VRBO was a nightmare..the property company was fact VRBO referred me to the property owner to book..VRBO did nothing..still waiting on my refund VRBO!!
