The house is located in a very convenient part of town, close to shops and public access beaches that will deliver great snorkeling throughout the day. The view from the house itself is also sensational. Nothing like the blue ocean, a few palm trees in the distance, and incredible sunsets / sunrises. Plus it has a wonderful pool! We stayed at this property for 5 nights in August. The heat was unbearable for most of our stay. While the property has ceiling fans and other fans we could bring out into the main spaces…it wasn’t really enough. Some of us were not able to deal with the heat and we spent good chunks of time just laying in bed, waiting for the evening to cool us down. An easy fix for this would be to get at least a couple of window AC units for the summer months. Besides the lack of AC, we had some minor issues with ants in the kitchen. I was not surprised by this at first since Hawaii has all these various bugs and critters all around (some cuter than others!) but the ants became a bit of an inconvenience because we suddenly had to put all food items in cabinets or the fridge to avoid them and could not really use the counter space in the way we’re used to. The house itself shows some signs of age and tear/wear from being so close to the beach but I think those are somewhat expected. Other than that, lovely location and still a great option in Kona.

Amazing property, spectacular view and sunsets! Very spacious home and well stocked kitchen. Clean home with comfortable beds. Landscaping is lush, providing us with so many beautiful photos of our family. Everyone enjoyed the pool, they provide lounge chairs, BBQ, floats, snorkeling stuff. Listening to the ocean was so relaxing. Quick drive to downtown for anything you need. We would definitely book again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Not only is it a beautiful location with a great pool, but the house also had everything we needed from kitchen and bathroom supplies to beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear and an umbrella. It gets a little warm in the afternoon with no AC but cools down quickly with the nice breeze in the evening. We would definitely stay there again.
