    Welcome to our Tropical Hideaway 20 minutes from Hilo.
    Our home is situated on 1 acre in the coveted Hawaiian Paradise Park area. You will love the beautiful, landscaped garden with many native trees and plants, the large Lanai, carport, and wrap around porch. It is also quiet, peaceful, and private!

    Inside you will love the spacious great room with vaulted ceiling, large windows, big screen TV, cooling lever blinds and fans for great air flow.
    The Kitchen is complete with a long wooden table, bar, and all the amenities for preparing, cooking, and serving meals for a family. Kitchen was recently updated with new appliances, countertops, fans, and flooring.
    All 3 bedrooms have extra comfortable, newer beds, sheets, and pillows, ceiling fans, external fans for airflow, and new flooring. The master bedroom is very spacious with a15 inch TV, and the master bath has a shower AND JETTED TUB, great for relaxing after a day of sight-seeing and swimming.
    There are many beautiful sights and things to do within 20 minutes like Volcano National Park, Rainbow falls, volcano rock/black sand beaches for swimming, and snorkeling, (Carl smith and Richardson’s beach parks are our favorite) as well as the local markets, and delicious restaurants.
    Enjoy the peace, tranquility, beautiful gardens, tropical breezes, great temperatures, and emotional cleansing and cooling of the rain. It rains often here making it cooler, more tropical, and beautiful!!
    You will go to sleep to the soothing jungle sound of the coqui frogs. (And sometimes by awakened by the feral roosters/chickens that run wild in HI. They are part of the experience 😁)
    Come to our home to play. Come to stay. Come for Peace, Relaxation, and Restoration you will dim in our Tropical Hideaway.

    One thing to note;
    the Hawaiian Paradise Park area (a most beautiful and coveted area of the Big Island) uses catchment water.
    If you’re not familiar with that, it means that the water used in the home comes from the rain water. It is collected in a catchment tank and cleaned with a UV lite system before entering the house to be used for washing, cleaning, bathing etc.
    With our filtration system and regular maintenance, most think it is safe to drink the catchment water. It is your personal choice. We will provide purified drinking water (bottled) for the first few days. Then if you are not comfortable drinking catchment, you can purchase bottled water ...

    We are from Oahu and stayed here for a month to be our home away from home. Spacious, clean and accommodating. Excellent communication with owner and responsive to any needs we had. Thank you for the ease and comfort of renting (as we often do.)
