Step inside this top-floor condo to find some of the best views in the resort. The living space is furnished in Hawaiian style, offering air-conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a lanai that's accessed from both the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom features a king-size bed while the loft has two double beds.
Hanalei Bay Resort is one of the premier properties on Kauai. Nestled on 22 acres along the beautiful coastline of the North Shore, the resort abounds with tropical foliage and amazing views of the green mountains, waterfalls, tropical sunsets over Bali Hai, and the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. In this spot overlooking Hanalei Bay, you'll be steps from a white-sand beach located below the resort.
Originally built as a tennis resort, the property still features some of the finest tennis facilities on the island. Enjoy access to eight tennis courts, a tennis pro shop, bell and shuttle service, beach gear rentals, a lagoon-style saltwater pool designed for family fun, and a quieter, smaller pool for those looking for something a little more relaxing. Hanalei Bay Resort also boasts close proximity to many North Shore attractions, shops, and two of Kauai’s best golf courses.
THINGS TO KNOW
Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors. Sounds may be audible between connecting doors.
Hanalei Bay Resort fees are due at check-in to the resort and are collected by the front desk. These include a one-time fee of $50 per reservation, a reservation fee of $6.75 for every non-owner reservation request, a $25 a day resort fee, and a $20 fee per car a day for parking.
Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC.
Hanalei Bay Resort swim-up pool bar is indefinitely closed.
This is a privately owned unit in a resort. Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The previous reviews are pretty accurate for this property. It could use a refresh on the paint and there are places like the bathroom caulk and bathroom door that should be redone. The dishwasher is not properly attached and moves when you open the door to the unit. The thing that I found most annoying was no potholders! :) These problems weren't big enough to impact our stay. The resort was lovely. The pool was awesome, the hot tub was working, the staff was helpful. The view is incredible and we loved the North Shore!

Hanalei Bay Resort has a fantastic view of the bay and local mountains. The sunsets were majestic and the sunrises were just as beautiful. The condo is a great size and well equipped for any length of stay. Those are the pros. We do have a few comments that might help the owner and future visitors. The pictures of the condo are not current, furniture and decorations are different than advertised. The nice green plants are gone, table and chairs are different, and flooring has changed. The space is not very colorful, more on the beige spectrum. Couches need a cleaning. Space needs a refresh, painting and repair of holes where it looks like items were removed but not repaired, front slotted windows look to be the original and are quite used, but still work as needed. The shower needs some help too, as mold is visible, along with a proper shower curtain (the current one is way to long and can be a trip-hazard). Some TLC would make it more beautiful to go along with the wonderful view of the bay. Now the HB Resort as a resort. The staff is wonderful and always helpful. The pools and chairs are just what you want to relax. The BBQs and eating areas are complete and clean. The grounds are well maintained, unfortunately the Hot Tub was again out of order along with the restaurant, which seems to be an ongoing issue here. The resort does seem to charge you for everything and those cost add up quickly (and to us, were too high). With all that said, we did enjoy our stay.

This condo needed significant maintenance. The showers was not operational, the dishwasher did not work, the refrigerator leaked water inside the unit and the condo was not clean and did not have any soap products. Multiple attempts to contact Vacasa went unanswered. It is a shame as the location is wonderful. The condo needs a new management team. We were never compensated for our losses. Our calls still go unanswered. Vacasa should not be managing these homes

We loved our stay at 7306 and only regret not spending more nights on the north shore! The home was even more beautiful than the photos show and the view can’t be beat. The furnishings were very comfortable and updated, and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook small meals during our stay. Thank you for sharing this home with us! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at 7306 and only regret not spending more nights on the north shore! The home was even more beautiful than the photos show and the view can’t be beat. The furnishings were very comfortable and updated, and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook small meals during our stay. Thank you for sharing this home with us! This property seemed to be in the middle of a renovation. Once the reno is complete I am sure it will be a lovely condo. But when we stayed there there were missing baseboards and nails sticking out in places. The toilet wax seal was sticking out of the side of the toilet base. The bathroom door was really damaged. The countertops had recently been replaced but the clean up from that was not done well. We found chalky grime from the countertop installation inside all the cabinets and had to wash all the dishes before we used them. The bathtub was very dirty and because we had a toddler I had to re clean the tub before we could use it. Overall we were not impressed. Hanalei Bay Resort itself is amazing and the staff and facilities are excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Hanalei Bay Resort. It was the perfect size for our family of four and had everything we needed for our stay. Pools on the property are well kept, grounds are beautiful, and the condo was clean and spacious.

Loved our view of the mountains and ocean! We took numerous pictures of rainbows and not just a slice of the bow... both ends in vivid color! While enjoying our morning coffee on the awesome lanai, we had a cute little bird visit us, we watched the NeNe's come & go, and got a kick out of the rooster! Used both pools & the gym, our dinner at Happy Talk had a spectacular view, and thankful for Wiki pizza being onsite! Interesting walks to & from the parking lot and beach... not impossible but grateful that if your legs were not in shape, we had the option to take the shuttle! Recommendation: consider upgrading the kitchen and bathroom to match the quality of the rest of the room.

The view from this unit is incredible! It’s a good sized condo, definitely more space than we needed for two people but was great to have. Comfortable bed, comfortable big couch. Thanks to us you get to use a brand new toilet! Ha a little mishap, We had a situation with a shelf falling on the toilet cracking it. Vacasa was great, they expeditiously got a new toilet installed and kept us updated with good communication.
They provided some goodies as a welcome gift and we loved those!
It’s a bit of a walk to your car which we don’t mind, but if you have groceries or just don’t want to walk it’s not a problem as the property will drive you in a golf cart. The path to the beach is really cool. At the bottom of the path there is a lovely tiki bar that is part of another resort but we were able to sit at the bar and buy some beverages. Check in was smooth and all of the employees are very friendly. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

View is amazing. However unit is really in need of an update. Furniture is out dated. Kitchen is bare bones. Bathroom had a weird bar in the shower covered with mold. Its sad because this view and amenities of the property are awesome.
