We really enjoyed our stay here. The balcony was a great place to look at the view and relax. The complex was quiet and well maintained. The condo had everything that we needed.

Great location. If you like the sound of the ocean this location is perfect for you. Fully equipped kitchen, great balcony, air conditioning in the bedroom. Pictures are spot on, rooms are just as they are pictured.

This is a nice rental for a home base on Kauai. Plenty of room for two and probably a couple of kids if they had a pull out. For the price it was a good value and had everything we needed for our visit and so much more we never used, as they supplied coffee maker, full kitchen, towels (I did return one I took by mistake, sorry about that!), extra pillows, outdoor playing equipment like snorkels and boogie board, cooler. Until you visit any island in Hawaii you don't understand homes, especially rentals there are not always brand new and the salt air is super hard on any structure and surface and its starting to show a bit here but they do keep it up fairly well. I would have to agree the decor and some finishes are a bit dated and showing some age now but that's alot of Hawaii homes, and didn't distract us. We always had a comfortable return from each day with a rest on the lani to watch turtles swim below and hear those crashing ocean waves, which fully drowns out any road noise btw. This unit is on the end of the property and the since its summer you cannot really get the sunrise/sunset but we were shaded all day. We did have an upstairs neighbor which must have had a bouncing bowling ball for a child and really our only negative here. We just sat outside and enjoyed the view if it got to be to much. The management was extremely responsive and onsite property manager super helpful and very nice. Mahalo for having us and until we meet again! Aloha!

The view was great. The access to the island we easy from this location. The only air conditioner was in the bedroom but you didn't need it anywhere else because of the breeze off the ocean.

This condo is an end unit right on the water. We enjoyed being on the second floor and having a nice sized private balcony. Everything we needed was there including a comfortable bed. The place really needs updating but it is a good value.

We did our homework for this stay which was 3 weeks. The view of the ocean from the balcony is like none other. You will not see a sunrise though as the building faces too far south. The Passion Bakery across the street is fantastic. There is a farmer’s market within walking distance on Tuesday and Thursday. It is also convenient to shopping, the south shore and north shore. However, here’s what they don’t tell you; the construction on Kuhio Highway causes massive backups and delays in Kapa’a and the property is right next to, and I mean right next to, the highway. Make sure you get a room on the far end. The front of the building looks at a gas station. As for the condo itself it is as described, dated. The pots and pans were adequate but also well worn. The photos make everything look shiny but, it’s not. The sofa cushions are so worn as to have no cushion and badly need to be replaced or restuffed. During our stay of 3 weeks I had hoped to get some work accomplished and needed reliable internet, you won’t get that here. I had to reset the modem everyday, some days multiple times. You do have a view of the derelict Coco Palms hotel as well there is a derelict building at the end of the building nearest the road. We don’t recommend the beach there either. Yes, we read and knew about the lack of A/C except in the bedroom. Yes, you do have trade winds which do create a nice breeze however it can still be hot and humid in the unit. Also, if the winds are strong they can create such a howling as to make listening to a television, radio, or music difficult. Strong winds can also create a cacauphony of noise as big waves hit the rocks. The bed room has A/C and is the most comfortable room, mostly because of the A/C but they ask that you only run it at night and at a certain temperature. It can be loud when trying to sleep. Marvis, the woman on site is a delightful woman. Enjoyable to talk and a fount of local information and history. She was very responsive, a highlight of our stay. Mark, also on site was a nice guy, responsive, respectful and seemed to be always working. Bottom line, the cons far out weighed the pros, we won’t be returning. I don’t know this for certain but to me it doesn’t look like any upgrades have been done in this century. My only motivation for writing this is because we had known more of this we wouldn’t have booked here. We mean no harm but we believe potential renters need to know this stuff.
