The recreation deck on the 6th floor is one of the largest in Waikiki and is equipped with a swimming pool, two hot tubs, kids play equipment, tennis court, basketball court, BBQ grills, picnic tables, sauna, and lounge chairs. The Mini Mart is located on the 1st floor and is open daily. The Banyan Breeze coffee shop is located on the 1st floor. 24 hour security is there to help you rest easy.

Parents of small kiddos, please beware! This facility is on the 37th floor and there are NO LOCKS on the windows. Our 1 year old found an unlocked window RIGHT NEXT to the bed (you can see the distance between the bed and the window in the property’s advertisement photos). But for the grace of God, he didn’t fall through (the windows don’t stop at an angle that would have prevented him from falling, no screen, no safety mechanisms whatsoever). We left the next morning. Interestingly, when we moved into our new room, the very first thing the bellhop did when he brought our luggage was walk over to the sliding glass door and lock it. He said, “Sir, I noticed you have small children so we recommend keeping this door locked for safety reasons.” Yeah, good idea.
FYI, RedAwning was kind and apologetic when we called to complain. Koko resorts, the owner of the facility, told us we would not be reimbursed for our cancellation and hung up on me.

We LOVED the location and would stay here again. Right next to Waikiki Sunset and Marriott. Koko Resorts (manager) knows lots more about the location than Red Awning (owner). Only provide 1 small hotel size of shampo/conditioner/lotion, 1 bar of soap so if need more bring your own. You might be able to request more ahead of time. After 4 days into your stay you are able to request item refills and towel exchange. Tile on floor is smooth (no carpet), so if you have a family member that might have balance issues, socks with grip on the bottom might be a good idea.
I marked down on cleanliness because floor didn't look mopped well and handles of cupboards sticky. I marked down communication because even though Red Awning answered promptly, their answers were unhelpful and I felt like a I got a "stamped" answer completely unrelated to my question. After booking just reach out to Koko and save yourself time.
As mentioned before we really enjoyed our stay, just thought I'd add some pointers to help others.

We had 6 adults so it is understandable why it might be a little cramped. Not enough room for everyone to have access to their luggage. Aside from that, the place was nice. Beds were comfortable, location was great and close to everything, the little coffee shop downstairs was AMAZING.

It was great. Easy process. Free parking next to the beach is extremely important and beneficial!!!
