Spent 12 wonderful nights in this unit that had everything we needed. The view was spectacular. Very professional, smooth and organized check in process. Will stay at a Kapalua Bay Villas Property again.

great location. Great view. comfortable place. Could use a little updating on some things and a good cleaning. some of the bedding for the sofa bed was permanently stained . Overall though we really enjoyed our stay.

We were disappointed in the quality of this unit. We have been going to Kapalua Bay Villas for over 15 years and this was our first trip staying for two weeks. The flooring in the condo was updated not that long ago which is great until you see that only some of the trim work was reinstalled. Many of the electrical outlets either did not work at all or sparked when you plugged something into them, scary. The website stated there was an ice maker, there was not. The drop kitchen ceiling was filled with bugs. Some of the paint was peeling off the walls. Several ceiling can light bulbs were missing or burnt out. After the first night we discovered the toilet was leaking. Obviously, the toilet was very old and the white tile surrounding the toilet was yellow.. The plumber arrived late in the day to fix the problem however had to wait over an hour for the management company to authorize a repair. The next day the toilet began to leak again. Once again a plumber came out to the property however this time with a new toilet. The first two days of our vacation we spent cleaning up toilet water with the bath towels and having to do the laundry. At least the public toilet at the pool was available for use. The views are great and the location is ideal for us. The pools were excellent and the activities at Kapalua fit couples and families. My advice to the owner would be to fix the electrical outlets, paint and remodel the kitchen and bath.

The property is a little older but well-maintained. Very clean and spacious for a one-bedroom unit. The Kapalua area and particularly this property, which allows you access to a beautiful small beach, makes it feel less crowded than other parts of Maui. Walking access to the Ritz Carlton and the Montage Resort, via a public walking pathway, is a plus. You can walk over to one of their various bars for an evening drink appetizers, or dinner.
