The Ilikai Hotel is well known as being the backdrop for the original Hawaii 5-0 television show. The property is in a great location, was clean, and close to the beach. The kitchen was a bit short on plates, bowls, cups, tableware and other amenities. We adapted. Overall, this was a memorable trip made more memorable by the great views of the sunset and the ocean.

This was a beautiful location, we loved the views and the space to relax and enjoy our vacation. The location was very convenient to shopping, restaurants and activities. The unit could use some updates, but overall it was a great value and we would stay here again in the future.

This unit did not meet our expectations or agree with the description provided. Pros: Location was ideal for items on our itinerary. Staff was friendly, and onsite dining options were good. Bed was comfortable. Cons: Floors in unit were filthy, had to wear shoes entire time or deal with black feet. Kitchen cabinets were greasy and sticky. Walls and doors were dirty and need paint/repair. Some of the electrical outlets and power strips did not work. Furniture cushions were worn and had holes in the upholstery. Closet doors were off track and hard to move. Air conditioner was noisy/rattled. Condensation from the air conditioner in the unit above dripped onto this lanai. This was our first VRBO experience, and based on our disappointment, may be the last.

Apartment needs updating. Barely enough kitchen utensils to prepare a meal. Pool had a capacity limit that affected our use. Fitness center could not be accessed by VRBO users. Better location nearby for the price. Michael Norelli
