Just installed as of May 2024, Fujitsu Multi-Zone 24,000 BTU total with 9,000 BTU master bedroom and 18,000 BTU in living room. New bamboo shades leading to the lanai, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view of the grounds and peeks of the beautiful ocean. The living room has new, comfortable furniture as of May 2024 featuring a sofa bed. Easily accessible by stairs/elevator. Pono Kai is just a few steps away from charming Old Kapa'a Town with restaurants, galleries, stores, and a walking/bike path along the beach.
Provided: Bath, beach and kitchen towels. Beach chairs, umbrellas and a snorkel mask are included. The bedroom features a Queen bed with all linens and extra blankets. The living room and bedroom have Roku TVs, cable TV and internet. A 50” TV has just been installed in the living room area.

Nice, clean space on the third floor. Walking distance to shops and places to eat and the beach. JoAnn was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay there again.

We just spent a lovely month in Kauai. The condo was beautiful. Joanne was easy to book with and kept us updated as needed. We enjoyed the Pono Kai grounds and location as we explored the beautiful island.

We have stayed in other Pono Kai condos that seemed more like a 'home'. This condo was acceptable for our purposes. Main complaint is the condo could have been cleaner. A garment from a previous guest was found behind the bedroom dresser. In our opinion, the property needs a good 'deep clean'.

My partner and I stayed for about a week at this lovely resort and enjoyed every second of it. The balcony looks out over the resort with slight visibility of the ocean. The condo was clean and and fully stocked with kitchen needs as well as beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. Would definitely come back!
