Kona Hale Pili is a craftsman's masterpiece and a modern adaptation of the traditional Hawaiian pili grass covered house. Located direct oceanfront at the north end of Kahaluu Bay, unobstructed views are offered from Kahaluu Beach to Kaiwi Point at the end of Kailua Bay. Enjoy watching the surfers at the Kahaluu surf break, reef fish and turtles, spinner dolphins and breaching whales, in season, and spectacular green flash sunsets. Kahaluu Bay is accessible adjacent to Kona Hale Pili for experienced water persons, or by an easy five minute walk to Kahaluu Beach. Best place we’ve stayed on the island. Pictures and reviews cannot convey how stunning this property is. Both the home and location were spectacular. Snorkeling directly off the property each morning and a two minute paddle to surfing in the bay. Spinner dolphins, brilliant sunsets and a home that was perfectly appointed. All top quality with kind and thoughtful neighbors as an added bonus. We will definitely be back. Hard to leave this lovely property and gorgeous location! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
