Maui Kamaole #D-102 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the ground floor in a quiet location. It has split system air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, two TVs, and free WIFI. There is a king bed and new (2023) queen sofa bed. The en suite bathroom features a walk-in shower. For outdoor activities, Maui Kamaole #D-102 is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, 2 small and 1 large patios/lanai with an outdoor dining area. There is also a large, semi-private outdoor lawn area attached to the lanai. Sleeps 4.

Kamaole Beach #3 is just across from the upscale Maui Kamaole. This property features lush tropical landscaping, two gorgeous pool areas with hot tubs and water features. There are gas grills peppered throughout the property and tennis courts available for your use. The Kamaole Beaches are world famous for their pristine water, long sandy shoreline, and great snorkeling. In addition during the winter, the humpback whales are just off shore and put on a great show. You will also enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. You also are within walking distance to activities, shops and restaurants and a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Everything about our stay was great. Only negative was there was an abundance of bugs, probably just at the timing of scheduled applications?

This was the fourth trip to Kihei that we have taken and the first as a family of four. This unit was bright and updated compared to other units at Maui Kam. No carpet which was great and the AC units are new and SILENT! The kitchen is made to cook in which we did the majority of our stay. Everything you need to bake (except a muffin tin, didn’t see one of those) as well as cook. Lots of Tupperware as well for food storage. However, this was the first trip we have ever experienced BUGS in large quantities which really marred our trip. We would spend the morning killing anywhere from 3-7 small little ones to medium size roaches. They would be in the silverware container, dish sponge, on the edge of the dishwasher. It was pretty bad because we had pizza one night and they came and were eating the pizza while we still had it out for dinner. However, there are other things that were helpful in this unit. Appreciate how decked out the amenities were as well. A full bucket of sand toys, two full face snorkels and about 4 adult sets of fins and snorkels with beach chairs and 3 umbrellas, made the beach days easy as pie. The linens were clean and mattresses comfortable. If you are looking to be close to the beach or have an ocean view this is not the unit for you. It is just a little bit too far to walk comfortably with young kids to the heart of Kihei without a stroller compared to day Kihei Kai Nani. All of that is why we gave it a 3 of 5 stars!

The lanai was quite secluded and private. The kitchen was pretty well appointed. Appreciated the beach items like chairs and umbrellas. Booking, checking in, checking out is a breeze.

The pool is small, and some of the homeowners or other guests did not seem to fond of having kids around, but other than that it was a good experience and I would stay here again.

We appreciated the spices and plenty of storage containers for leftovers, as well as a nice set of pots, pans and grilling utensils. As a family of 4, we had plenty of space and enjoyed breakfast on the lanai each morning.Towels and sheets were high quality, the king bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed is sufficient but not comfortable - it’s lower on one end, as has been pointed out in other reviews. The outlets in the larger bathroom don’t work, but everything else was fully functional.We appreciate that they have a closet of beach supplies including a cooler, chairs, and snorkeling gear.The grounds and two pools are beautiful, which was nice when we were taking a break from the beach. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay! Thank you!

The room felt updated and clean and was a great time with my wife and 1 year old son. The tile showers were nice. And plenty of beach amenities in the closet.
