We had a fantastic spring break here, with a group of six (mix of adults, and preteen/teens). The house is immaculate and honestly better than the pictures convey! We thoroughly enjoyed the home, especially the large pool and lanai area. Very easy for a large group to gather but also have a few private spaces. The property manager was a great communicator and met us at the home upon arrival and at check out. We will most certainly return!

This house is your dream Hawaiian vacation come true! Beautiful upscale immaculate home, excellent amenities and perfectly supplied gourmet kitchen with basic pantry supplies and more. Everything you need for the beach is available in the garage closet. Rob was super communicative, answering all our questions leading up to our stay and contacted us after our arrival to make sure everything was satisfactory. We spent most of our time at the house on the lanai or in the beautiful infinity-edged pool. The pictures on the listing are spot on, but the views - no way to accurately capture the WOW-factor of the views!

Our family of 6 stayed at this amazing property and we had a wonderful time. Our only disappointment was leaving! The house is beautiful and quite comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked; we enjoyed eating in several nights. The pool and the views are fantastic! Every night we had the best seat in the house for the sunset. Check in process was easy and Rob was extremely responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.

We have so many incredible things to say about our stay at the Dolphin House. Rob is the consummate host and helped make our stay the best. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our arrival and we were greeted with a beautiful welcome gift (including Rob’s home brewed rum, delicious!) as well as easy to read instructions covering everything from the kitchen appliances, use of the house’s electric bikes, as well as recommendations for nearby hikes and restaurants. The house itself was clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. In fact, the pictures don’t quite do it justice! The decor is sleek and modern with a Hawaiian flair. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and well kept. Of course, you cannot beat the views from the backyard. Rob answered all of our questions during our stay. Can’t say enough good things about the Dolphin House and we would definitely give it the highest recommendation.l!

We had a perfect first week of 2022 at this great Mauna Kea property. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. There is so much fun at the house itself, it made leaving for the beach difficult at times. Great for couples or a family with older children. The kids loved the electric bikes, the office (gaming nook) and the pool. Kitchen also is very well equipped. Owners also provide a lot of great information about the island and its unlimited opportunities.

Everything about Dolphin House was spectacular! The host has taken care of every detail, including the guest beach closet, so all you need to do is reserve and then enjoy the beautiful home, stunning view and relaxing pool and hot tub. Don’t miss this one for the perfect island escape!

This was the most wonderful trip. Working with the homeowner was very easy. He was so informative about what to do where to go always quick to respond to any questions. He truly wanted us to have a great experience. We felt so at home on the property. It was above and beyond our expectations. Do not hesitate to book. The home is beautiful, well maintained and it had everything you would need to live there. We hated to leave.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. We’re frequent visitors to Mauna Kea and have stayed in many homes or condos. This home is the by far the nicest of any we’ve stayed at. The home literally looks brand new and the finishes are first class. Also, this is the best view we’ve experienced in any of the homes we’ve rented. We loved the large pool area and outdoor lanai, be it for morning coffee or sunset drinks, there was alway some aspect of the open view to take in. This is a perfect home for adults. We had an outstanding vacation here and will definitely return to this home again as it’s now our top pick in Mauna Kea!
