As mentioned above, this is a living and sleeping area as you'll find in this combined space, both a great conversational area, couch that converts to a Queen size bed, as well as a comfortable King size bed. With access to the lanai, stunning views and a fully updated bathroom, this is a fantastic space but it's not a private bedroom. You'll enjoy a King size bed and ensuite bathroom with a convenient work space! You'll have no problems staying cool after a day in the sun, featuring a split AC in the main living room and guest bedroom, ceiling fans throughout and the famous Maui breeze right off your lanai. Perfect location. Condo way to expensive for condition of unit and the fact all the usual amenities were closed and site going through remodeling so constant jack hammering. No quiet time! My perfect stay site far from that

Fresh and light filled unit in an amazing location. We have rented in this building before and this is by far our favorite unit. We had a delightful and extremely comfortable stay. We would definitely rent again. Just a tip - if you like to sleep late, you may want to bring some earplugs as folks are up and about enjoying the property by 7:30 or 8 am.

Renting the property was fine. Unfortunately the noise from other rooms will prevent us from staying at the Mona Kai again. I understand this is not the homeowners fault.

Loved having this place as our homebase in Maui. We only used the front bedroom, but enjoyed having two bathrooms and more space to spread out. The condo is very attractively decorated, the view is amazing, and the bed was comfortable. Laundry was easy and it was nice to just grab the two provided beach chairs or use the lounge chairs provided by the condo to hang on the grass each afternoon after we explored. The condo is pretty far south in Kihei (basically in Wailea) so if you plan to do a lot of activities in Lahaina or Paia, then you’ll be driving quite a bit. It wasn’t a huge bother for us, but just something to know. If you’re looking for good off-the-beaten-path spots in Kihei, we enjoyed South Side Grindz for mochiko chicken, Kraken coffee truck, and 1054 Togoshi for sushi.
