Location of property was great, with the view far better than shown online. Quiet area, with great walking trail along ocean. Restaurant at the pool served well priced and great food. Kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of dishes, glasses etc. Condo needed some repairs, including the damaged oven door that would not stay closed. The property manager kindly did drop off a counter top oven. The garburator didn’t work, and we needed to cleaned out other people’s food with kitchen tongs (yuck), because it kept backing up while the dishwasher was on. Unfortunately, it didn’t make any difference. Main floor bathroom sink was plugged, so we tried plunging it, but it still needs attention. Sliding patio doors were filthy when we arrived, so we had to clean them ourselves. The property manager did offer to send someone to do a light cleaning, but as we had already done it, and the rest of the condo didn’t need recleaning, we declined. Even with the negative items listed above, we would absolutely stay here again. Hopefully the next time we visit, these things will have been dealt with, and we can give the listing 5 stars.

I was looking for a place in Waikaloa shores for me and some friends to celebrate a milestone birthday - this condo did not disappoint! The location was great and the condo was a great size for 6 of us - and the views were outstanding! We could watch the whales from the condo! I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend this condo!

The property was ready on time, and the layout of the condo is very nice. Big kitchen, nice living area with very large table and 6 chairs in the dining space. There is a bedroom on the main floor, with full bathroom, best for kids-bunk beds, but good sized. Both master bedrooms are upstairs and have very comfortable king beds, very nice full bathrooms. There is also a second floor lanai off the primary master, facing the water. The main floor lanai has a nice gas grill that we used a few times, and it was great to have it right there at the condo. The oven was not usable during our stay, but the manager did provide a countertop oven which we used successfully. If there were more than 4 people staying here that might not work as well. The Ocean Club where the pool and restaurant are located is very close walking distance, and staff is very friendly, we really enjoyed it. The condo complex is very well kept. The property manager very promptly answered all our questions. We liked being close to all the golf courses and other resorts-the location is great!

My sister and I rented this condo for our families to stay. The condo slept the eight of us comfortably and was very clean with great views. The host is so responsive to questions and even left us a welcome basket as we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked and having three full bathrooms was great. We loved getting up in the morning to walk through the lovely resort, swimming in the pool in the afternoon and watching the sunset in the evening. I would definitely stay again 😀

The property pleased everybody from the 12 year old to the 72 year old! The view was gorgeous and the location was peaceful yet close enough to walk to the club house. The condo is spacious enough that the 5 of us could spread out when necessary. The shopping areas are a short drive so we could dine out or shop for food whenever needed. The beach chairs, towels, and cooler were an added bonus! I would happily return to this condo. in a heart beat!!

This property was very spacious for the 8 of us, the youngest being 15. Very clean and provided everything we needed. The host always responded timely. There was a nice welcome package left for us when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out after our full days of activities and adventure. The whole complex was clean and quiet. Beautiful views! One thing we would have preferred were cleaner carpets as there were very visible stains but everything else was very clean.

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Halii Kai. We arrived and the unit was even more beautiful than we expected! The views of the golf course and ocean from both lanais were breathtaking. The unit itself was so spacious, we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was very well stocked with more than enough dishes, glassware and everything you need for cooking meals in the unit. The beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler and beach umbrellas really made our beach days perfect- so nice to not have to bring our own! Allyson was such a wonderful host- she was always just a quick text away, and willing to help with any problems or questions or we had. She also made our last day stress free by letting us check out late before our evening flight. We can’t wait to come back to Hawaii and Halii Kai!
