Welcome to the Nani Kai Hale, where you can wake up to to views of whales flipping their tails in the ocean and walk to serene, secluded sandy beaches within minutes. You'll be able to walk to a large community pool, a hot tub, tennis courts, and the wonderful west end beaches of Molokai from this ocean view condo at Ke Nani Kai. Situated on the second floor with 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean on the west end of Moloka'i, you can enjoy breakfast on the lanai while gazing at the sea or end the day with a cocktail and front seats to a stunning sunset.

Recently remodeled, our bright hale is a unique blend of southwestern flair and island-style livin.' As you step inside, you'll be greeted by rattan furnishings in the living room and tile floors throughout, continuing out to the private, sun-splashed lanai overlooking the grounds and the ocean just beyond. There are ceiling fans in every room to circulate the breeze, WiFi for your convenience and entertainment, and a 32-inch flatscreen cable TV to welcome you home from the beach each day. The kitchen is an open and social space with artfully pebbled countertops, Talavera tile countertops, trim, vessel sinks, genuine Saltillo tile floors, every essential appliance, and both a breakfast bar and an adjacent dining room table for meals enjoyed at home.

We encourage you to explore the island's west end, which is a hiker's paradise with an abundance of hiking and walking trails for all levels that you can walk to from the front door. But we wouldn't blame you if you wanted to stay at the Nani Kai Hale with its resort-style ambiance with perfect privacy. Ke Nani Kai is a lovely property located on the west side of the island of Molokai, with grounds that include a large outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, two tennis courts, gas grills, lounge chairs for sunbathing, and tables for al fresco meals. It's about a short walk down an access road to Kepuhi Beach, which is great for surfing in the winter months, ideal for swimming and snorkeling come summer, and the site of many paddle races to Oahu. You'll also be a short stroll across the old golf course from Papohaku Beach, one of the longest beaches in the state of Hawaii with waters that are rough in the winter but calmer for ocean swimming in summer. Ke Nani Kai is a half-mile stroll ...

Absolutely beautiful Molokai Beaches. The facilities were great and people so friendly and helpful. Only drawback is a little far drive from town. But having a kitchen helped with that. Overall amazing stay.

I was part of a group of 14 people who worked with the Molokai Land Trust on a conservation project. This was the central gathering space for meals. The layout worked very well for us. The furnishings need replacement - as noted above, the couch is broken and the mattresses could use replacement. It would be nice if the loft was accessible, if only for storage. But, with those caveats it is a place we will probably rent again.

Overall, everything was fine, but with a few issues: 1. The management company sent us the wrong code for the lockbox. Ultimately, they were very nice, but this was not a great way to start out. 2. We would have appreciated a few things in the kitchen, such as salt & pepper, a dish drainer, food wrap. 3 washer and dryer were great, but a couple of detergent pods would have been nice. 4. The non-stick pans, with their peeling coatings and very loose handles we’re downright dangerous. 5. The sea star cabinet handles, while very cute, ripped my skirt, then scratched my husband’s leg. 6. There were no instructions for wifi, where to leave the key on check-out, or anything beyond what was given to us about the pool and general grounds.
