38 miles long and only 10 to 15 miles wide, Molokai is the smallest of the main Hawaiian chain. The west side is arid and dry, and during the winter, the beaches are great for surfing, while summer guests love snorkeling and swimming. The eastern side is lush and tropical with miles of barrier reef in front. Molokai's north side is famous for having the world's highest sea cliffs which rise some 3,000 feet out of the ocean. The 2774-acre Kamakou Forest Preserve on Molokai overlooks these sea cliffs and is home to endangered birds and over 200 Hawaiian plants that grow only in this preserve. Molokai's south side is where you will find our main town of Kaunakakai, plus a handful of tourist and art shops, two full-service grocery markets, a health food store, a bakery, and even a wine and cheese shop. You'll also find some shopping in the villages of Kualapu'u and Maunaloa.

We started each morning out with a beautiful sunrise - what a treat to sit on our lanai with a cup of coffee while the sun rays streamed in. We appreciated the immediate access to walk out on the grass and explore the rest of the property. We made use of the pool, clubhouse and beach - all wonderful! And while we didn’t spend much time indoors, the bed was comfortable (great pillows!), bathroom well stocked, and kitchen was great. Overall wonderful stay. We can’t wait for our next trip back to Molokai!

Ground floor, easy access to lawn and waterfront… No AC, but nice breeze and plenty of fans kept it cool. Nicely remodeled bathroom, plenty of amenities. Will definitely put it on the list for our next stay! Thank you!

Perfect views of both sunrise and sunset. The space inside and outside is very welcoming, clean and quiet. This is definitely the building to be in Wavecrest since it faces directly into the water.

The location was perfect, the grounds were clean, and the view was beautiful. My only complaint was that there were many large roaches in our unit and our toilet seat was very loose. Multiple calls, emails and texts did not get it resolved, addressed or compensated.

Once I got into yhe unit, it wss fine. Getting in was a cluster. Wrong code for door, no key in box, texting the people who sent me code with no reply. The only thing that saved the day was the on island cell phone of someone who answered and had a back-up code.
The other issue was to confirm an extended stay bu 2 hours. No one responded when I booked or when I texted multiple times. I was clear in my booking that I needed the space for work and had conference calls.
They told me AFTER I checked in I could not stay the extra time. I would have just booked for another day jad I known earlier.
...and there was no pool code left for us. I happened to meet someone who knows my family that let me onto the pool.
Bad, bad, bad communication with the management company.
Unit was cute. and pretty clean. No games or extras.

Very chill vibes. Unit had everything we needed. We prepared many meals in the kitchen. The grounds are meticulously maintained by a friendly crew. Incredible view of Maui and Lanai. I am shocked by the affordable nightly rate for what you get. It’s an extraordinary value. Expert and responsive service from Chelsea, the on island manager from Vacasa. She even shared with us some of the best local beaches and activities to do on the island. If you’re looking for a super slow and relaxing island vacation - can’t go wrong with this place.
