I stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. The unit was extremely clean, comfortable, modern-feeling and nicely laid out. If anything it seemed bigger than the photos. It's tucked away at the back of the property lot, separated from the main home by a big covered walkway, so it's private but also feels secure. Mainly, it is an easy 4 minute walk to gorgeous Kailua Beach, and half of the 4 minutes is on a nice sandy path leading from the main road to the beach. It is really easy to get up early (around 5 a.m.) and pop out to the beach with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise, which is always amazing. The hosts were friendly and made check-in and check-out easy. I didn't use the pool but it looks nice and is often not being used. Safeway is around a 15 minute walk from there and I didn't feel the need to rent a car. Mainly... the beach!! Just one thing to note that I knew from reading reviews is that the home is located along a pretty busy residential street, so you sometimes hear road noise in the unit and if someone wanted to spend a lot of time by the pool in a quiet yard then that would be something to consider. I'm pretty sensitive to noise but it didn't bother me because I knew about it beforehand, the bed is on the opposite end of the lot from the street. and I didn't hang out in the yard, spent a ton of time walking on the beach and around Kailua. Also, wi-fi connection was strong. All in all a really lovely place to stay and I could have stayed longer.

I’ve stayed at several properties in Hawaii, this is my absolute favorite. Great hosts, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location. Although I’d like this property solely for my use and not encourage others, it wouldn’t be fair to these welcoming hosts. I’ll be looking for this property first on my next trip!

Nice place within a short walk to a beautiful beach. It is, however, located on a very busy road so it is a bit noisy. Also it isn’t exactly the kind of place that you want to hang out at during the day. The owners back yard which is basically your yard isn’t very private except they were gone most days. They were super nice people though!

Frank and his wife were super cool and sweet down to earth people.The property is nice and to easy access. It is only a 5 minute walk or so to Kailua Beach which is amazing. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and highway. The Guest house we stayed in had everything we needed and was quiet. Thank you for everything!

The Studio is located on the East side of Oahu, away from the busy Honolulu. Located just a block from the sandy Oahu shores. Nearby Kailua has everything a vacationer need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. But if you want the Honolulu night life, is merely a short trip over/thru the mountains. The guest will enjoy the privacy, and neighborhood.

I have been to Hawaii many times. My daughter and her husband just moved to Kailua. There are no hotels so finding somewhere to stay for a month was a challenge. I was happy to find a private apartment with a pool. Owners who are rarely home during the day live in the front home while I was tucked away down a driveway. Indoors quiet and clean, full kitchen and bath and lots of storage. Fridge but no freezer, nice outdoor space but on a busy street with traffic noise. It was very convenient for me with my family close by and Kailua has some really good restaurants. My daughter made use of the parking space to visit and for pickup and a short walk to the beach. She was my transport. There are buses close by or you will need a car. Once the problem with the non working tv was worked out all went well.

We loved the location the best. Just a few short blocks from the most beautiful beach in the world. And a few miles from the center of town.We were looking for a safe and comfortable place to rest after a day of island excursions and Franks place was the best for that. His family is quiet and hardly ever home so we felt like we had the place to ourselves for the most part. Highly recommend this studio. You can't beat the price if you do not want to spend your vacation lounging around inside.

The place is beautiful with gardens and open areas with a pool to enjoy. The hosts are a family that exemplify the openness of the Aloha lifestyle. You are teated like family but given the privacy of your own bungalow. I would have stayed longer but this is a very desirable property and it is in high demand. If you can get a booking , do it you will be extremely satisfied as am I.
