Remodeled in 2018, this romantic "hotel" style studio is ideal for a couple looking to explore the Hawaiian island. The Waikoloa Beach Resort has numerous amenities from golf course greenery, swimming pool, fitness room, BBQ stations, tennis courts, and even koi ponds, you'll be endlessly entertained. The Anaehoomalu Bay (A-Bay) beach is a mile away so you can hit the beach to swim with dolphins, windsurf, snorkel or even go on one of the glass bottom boat tours! The King's and Queen's shops are less than a mile away and offer great shopping and dining options. Don't forget to check out the scenic golf courses and set your tee time!
The studio features a comfortable California King bed with a 50" Smart TV to watch your favorite movies/TV shows. The kitchenette is great for a cup of morning coffee and a quick snack before exploring the island. There is a Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, and mini fridge available. Numerous local dining options are nearby if you're craving some poke or Hawaiian BBQ! There is a small table with 2 chairs if you feel like dining in or reading a book by the garden view.
The spacious bathroom has a standing shower. There is a split system AC to keep you cool during the Summer months! There is parking right across the unit for 1 car.
The resort is the perfect getaway for couples looking to relax and explore the Hawaiian island!

Air-conditioning in the condo: The A/C is set to come on only when the temperature in the condo exceeds 75F. The A/C is controlled from a central thermostat. The timer needs to be activated to have the thermostat control the A/C.

The exterior lights didn’t work, so it was necessary to use my flashlight in the phone to enter and exit after dark. Very nice, but small. Note, no full kitchen or laundry or lanai. .Our daughter’s unit had those amenities, so I hat was not an issue for us.. It was perfect sleeping quarters and bathroom. Very clean and it was perfect for our needs.

Can't sleep in this studio. (it's called romantic studio ?) The smallest bit of Kona breeze caused the vertical window blinds to swing banging into each of the other 25 vertical strips. ... all night. (How silly to have those blinds when the windows open on the bottom 12 inches.) two times I called mgt with never a reply. I was told nboth times I would get a call back and try to remedy. I begged they just come in and take down the blinds and cover the windows with a blanket. We would've been fine with that versus each night impossible to sleep. After 4 nights, we checked out 3 nights early and went elsewhere. There were NO chairs to sit on but they did have an elevated table with 2 elevated (bar height?)chairs that were NOT user friendly as we are both seniors and heaving ourselves up to the elevated height was problematic. Cute? Maybe. Impractical and uncomfortable? Definitely. I thought there would be cookware but only one 2cup saucepan. PERIOD. No pepper, salt, sugar or even a packet of coffee. The cabinets had a full set of dishes, silverware but i don't know what they thought we could use it for. Guests should be advised to bring your own cookware, we went and bought a small skillet and full size saucepan for oatmeal for our first few nights before checking out early. Seemed to be our only remedy with lack of response from mgt. Kona has a beautiful breeze except in this studio it was horrible.

I loved the pool. It was close to shopping, the best beaches, and a lovely resort area. I rented the smaller one bedroom unit. But, I did get to see a larger ... family unit at the same property. It was awesome!
