We enjoyed our kauai stay at the condo. It was clean and the pictures represented the condo perfectly. It is nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The. Heck in was easy although we had to meet someone there that knew nothing about the condo by his own admission. An updated checkin system is needed that doesn’t require card keys. There are boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas for our use which was great. A full array of spices for cooking and a large collection of glasses ans cups. Other units (we had 4 other couples with us) we’re stocked with newer items in the kitchen. There are a few items needing repair like the sliding glass door is nearly impossible to close and lock. The ice maker only works sporadically and the refrigerator does not have a door handle. It was an expensive condo compared to the one we rented a few months earlier in the same location but we needed to reserve 5 units in the same complex for all our friends and this complex was great for that!

Our stay at Kiahuna Plantation was everything and more. We were steps from the beach where you can boogie board, surf or just sunbathe. If you want to snorkel just go around the corner! Every evening the turtles came in to rest. They resort has beautiful grounds and you are so close to great restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Pros: Grounds are meticulously maintained, with huge grassy areas for play. Water toys for rent. Unit comes with cooler, chairs, body boards, and free towel rental. A/C! Cons: Ground maintenance involves morning noise. Unit would be crowded if more than 2 people...maybe 1 child.
