We absolutely loved our stay at this house! The position is incredible. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed! The extra linen, beach towels and boogie boards were also really helpful.

The house has a fantastic location. Very walkable to Kailua beach. The pictures were fairly representative of the interiors. The exterior however is in grave disrepair with extensive rot and termite damage evident. The house is a tear down. I only mention the exterior of the property because the house was swarmed with termites the 3rd day. They were in the bed, sheets, pillowcases, on all the lamps. We did our best to clean them off the sleeping surfaces but still woke up with termites on us. It was disgusting. We cut out visit to Kailua short and checked into a hotel. While the manager offered to send an exterminator, this did not seem like a suitable solution given our young kids were there and the termites were on the beds. I have never had such an unpleasant experience staying anywhere. Rooms were fine, location was great but the termites were unbearable.

We loved this spot! You can’t beat being right across the street from Kailua Beach Park and next to Buzz’s. The property was cute, cozy, and the A/C in the bedrooms worked great! Jessica was very communicative and quick to answer any questions. We would definitely come back and stay!

My mother and I were in Kailua, March 2023. We had an excellent stay and would definitely return to this lovely cottage by Kailua beach park. It had everything we needed and was at the perfect location. Jessica was a wonderful and responsive host.

Great location next to a beautiful but windy! beach. Perfect for those looking for a place to stay while kite surfing. Nice local grocery and pizza place. Pill box hike is walking distance and worth experiencing.

Property was perfect for my family. Set a little bit back from the main road which made it very quiet. Plenty of room for our family of five and a 3 minute walk to Kailua Beach. Favorite amenity was the heavy-duty wagon we used to tote all out stuff back and forth from the beach. ACs in rooms work great, and we only ran them at night. Awesome stay!

You cannot ask for a better location! Across the street from Kailua beach. Sunrise walks on the beach were the perfect way to start the day. Buzz’s steakhouse right next door for a nice dinner and a short walk to kalapawai market.

Great little beach cottage. Outstanding location tucked back off the road across the street from the beach. Enjoyed walking over to catch the sunrise every morning before hunkering down to work remotely. Looking forward to spending time there again. Mahalo.

This was in an excellent location. The home was a good size for my husband and I. Having only one small bathroom would have been challenging with more people. The AC is only in the bedrooms and was not turned on when we arrived. But don’t let this cause any worry… once the AC units and fans were turned on, the temperature was very comfortable. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The location was perfect to walk across to Kailua Beach and a short bike ride to Lanikai Beach. The beach chairs, umbrellas, and floats were such a wonderful thing to have available every day. Having a washer and dryer was an appreciated amenity. Kailua town has some really great food options and was also a short bike ride away. The closest options were Buzz’s and Kalapawai Market which were both great. The market had excellent breakfast along with yummy coffee. I would definitely recommend this cottage and we look forward to staying again.
