Aloha! You are looking at a fully licensed property for vacation rental (Hawaii STVR registration No. 19-361380, TA-209-842-5856-01), which speaks for my qualification and experience as your host.
My place is centrally located in Kona, close to farmer's market, restaurants, shops and beaches for snorkeling/diving. You’ll love my place because of the professionally cleaned rooms, super comfy beds, tropical island ambiance, quiet and safe neighborhood, no traffic, ocean sunset view everyday, stars and milky-way at night. This location has consistent mountain breezes that bring a comfortable temperature, so it's never scorching hot like oceanfront properties. With fans on, AC is not needed for 99% people.

Treat yourself to a relaxing whole body massage with our luxury Infinity massage chair after a long day of activity, or watch a movie at our outdoor theater with a drop-down 120" projection screen in the evening!

You will enjoy hiking around our property within the rock wall and pick in-season fruits, such as Hawaiian white pineapple, cherimoya, jabuticaba, avocado, lychee, mango, cherry, starfruit, longan, lemon, orange, and papaya trees. Plus, a variety of colorful flowers and leaves to choose from if you are into bouquet making!

Hawaii is a paradise, and so lots of plants, wild birds, coqui frogs, and other animals also live here. We treat bugs and pests on a regular basis inside and around the house, but - no matter how hard we work and how amazing my place is - occasional encounter with ants or cockroach is possible in Hawaii. I’m sure that you understand this is part of a tropical island experience :)

I have traveled around the world and I know that the real luxury in traveling means not only having a clean and comfortable place to stay but also being taken care of by the host. I give my guests space but am available when needed. I am active in scuba diving, freediving and other-door activities. If you need any information on where to go & what to do, I am more than happy to help. Plus, I know a few secret spots to swim with dolphins, turtles and manta rays.

This home is wonderfully located on the hills above the ocean with wonderful views. It is in a very quiet nice neighborhood. The frogs like to party all night and add to the fun. We all loved this property. The lanai is a quiet refuge. The little ones loved exploring all the orchard plants. Opening the windows and enjoying the fresh island air kept us all cool and happy. The water is delicious. The fridge is very noisy (but no one sleeps that near it). We all soundly give this home away from home a firm thumbs up! Thank you for such a positive positive trip to the islands!

Accurate description, in a residential area just South of Kona. Traffic in and out of Kona can be heavy, allow 30 minutes most days to make it activities, park and to be a few minutes early. Allow 2 hours to get to Hilo via the saddle road (rt 200), there is always some construction somewhere. Property was as described, great to have washer and dryer! Could use a few new light bulbs in kitchen ceiling lights and in living room, but nothing serious to worry about. Very clean. Day bed is a trundle, so sleeping for two adults will work. Couch could sleep one or two more children, it is not a pull out. Other two beds can handle 2 adults each. Plenty of parking, good wifi, tv, plenty of hot water. Massage chair is a nice add. Front porch is great for morning coffee or tea. Rooster next door every morning at 5:45am, but we were exhausted daily and used fans for white noise, so sleeping through it was not a problem for us!

I love this place. I will say it is a little funky. My family expected something a little more modern based on the pictures. If you are looking for an upscale estate this isn’t the place. If you want a nice simple (but funky) clean spot between all the fun activities then this is great.

We were a family of four (w/ two teens) traveling all over the Big Island. Stayed in several places. This place was as described- we loved the massage chair! Beds were comfy. Some issues were: sewer smell (we had to close kitchen windows), damp smell (could use a dehumidifier), noisy at night (lots of roosters crowing). We also wished there was a map and some info on the fruit trees that are on the property - it was hard to tell if we were looking at limes or baby grapefruit. We would probably not stay here again on a return trip - but maybe as the price was fair and we brought ear plugs.

Great location with easy access to Kona and back roads to Costco/airport. Temperature was great with cool evenings and a breeze, was surprised at the difference the elevation made. Located in a residential area that had some construction while we were there. Had a great time walking the property and looking g at the fruit and flowers.

Smack dead in the middle of Kona, but far up enough to be away from the constant touristy congestion as well the benefit of the cool night air, for a restful sleep. To get back into it the following day. It served us well and it felt like home.

The property was situated on a windy road above all the traffic routes. We arrived at 12:30 am after 18 hours of travel, so the initial drive there was a bit terrifying, as we had no idea where we were in the dark. But once the sun came up we discovered that we were in a small slice of paradise. Everything except tourist activities was there for us. Kahalu’u Bay is less than 10 minutes away, and the Keauhou shopping center is just down the way. For our needs it was a perfect place to be, quiet and away from the crowds. Would go back in a heartbeat.
