Debbie, the manager, was extremely helpful. The property was not clean, the towels and sheets were stained and tattered. Carpeting and Furnishings were dirty. They should be upgraded. The View out the lanai was stunning!

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this property and we absolutely love it. Debbie and Tony have always treated us friendly. Their knowledge of the island and the area around the property has helped out more than they know. The view from our balcony is so relaxing and most mornings we can see the sea turtles along the sea wall. We love staying here

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed a week in Feb in unit 207. It was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy... all the nice extras that one likes in a condo such as a little cooler, beach chairs and mats etc. Kitchen had lots of glasses ( plastic and glass ) and an ice machine in the freezer which was super. We loved it and spent many evenings on the lanai watching the whales and turtles offshore and the sunsets in the evening. The snorkelling out front was surprisingly good... quite a few fish and lots of turtles.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Kulakane for 2 weeks in January 2020. It was perfect. When we first walked in we felt like we were on Maui. It is tastefully decorated with a true Hawaiian feel. The unit was very clean and was equipped with everything we could ask for, even a coffee grinder. Tony has the grounds well kept and when we walked out the back door, you could smell the Plumeria. He was also a very gracious host and would ensure we were on track for the nightly conch blowing at sunset. The atmosphere is very welcoming at the building. Debbie was excellent to deal with and answered any questions we had. It really felt like home. We love this area on Maui. it is not as busy,close to beaches the market, fish market and not far from Lahaina. There are so many things to do on Maui, we kept busy everyday snorkelling, fishing, hiking even a day trip to Lanai. One of our favourite activities was sitting on the Lanai and watching the whales and turtles. Truly a paradise and our happy place. Thank you Tony and Debbie. We hope to be back next year!

We saw whales everyday - within minutes of looking for them. No kidding, it was like a whale aquarium out there! Also, because of the rocks right off shore you are sure to see the Sea Turtles riding the waves. Really cool. Our Unit (207) was beautifully decorated and well equipped. My only disappointment was the size of the pool and construction on the sea wall but that would not prevent me from returning. We loved it. I also appreciated the caretakers. They stay on top of everything.
