Would recommend staying at the village and booking through vrbo. We had great time. Seamless arrival and everything worked out smoothly

The first thing our bellman said to us was that we had one of the best units in the resort....a 21st floor (of 24 floors) 2 bedroom /2 bath corner unit with 2 balconies and phenomenal ocean /harbor views. Unit was exceptionally clean with a full kitchen. Free laundry facilities are located on the same floor near the elevator.
Lots to do at the resort and within walking distance to all Waikiki attractions.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay in the Penthouse suite in Lagoon Tower. Since this was a time share, a guaranteed room number is not possible. Although our room was fine, the location of the room being next to the elevator shaft, made the master bedroom unbearably loud and difficult to sleep during the night. This was room 2473. We spoke to the Resort Manager who said that this is a known issue and that the rooms are on the other side of the elevator shaft are even more noisy - 2470 room I believe. Although the Penthouse had great views, the actual location of your room is paramount since it definitely affects your overall enjoyment of your vacation.
