Many of the properties in Ke Nani Kai are not as private as the location of this ground floor unit. Views of open hillsides, with beach and ocean views, make this a prime location at this complex. There are no other buildings across the parking lot from this one, providing you with unobstructed and cooling trade winds.
Being an end unit, this has large south side sliding glass doors that extend your views to the south, as well as a lanai that wraps around the unit. Since this is the last building in the row, facing the ocean, there is no neighbor on the south side.

The renovation includes porcelain tile throughout the unit, with newer kitchen cabinets and counter tops. As with all end units, there is even an additional window in the kitchen bringing plenty of south facing light throughout the day.
The king sized mattress is new, as are all of the linens in the unit.

Ke Nani Kai has the best pool complex on the island, with a large pool deck area with new outdoor furniture, and a large spa. There is also a covered picnic area with a gas grill to prepare meals at. Next to this area are the tennis courts. This is the only group of condos that have tennis courts on this side of the island.

Speaking about "this side of the island", it is the West side. This is where you want to be. Everyone knows that this is the driest and sunniest part of the island, with the longest white sand beaches within walking distance of the condo. You will often find yourself with the beach being your own, or shared by the lucky few. Summer time is particularly beautiful at the beach, as the ocean is generally calm, with varying shades of blue and aqua green. In the winter, the other parts of the island often get showers, while the West side remains sunny and dry, with a constant cooling trade wind.

Come and experience an island of little change, retaining its Hawaiian culture as seen in every day life. People are reserved, but very friendly, once you reach out to them with a smile, and the traditional greeting of "aloha". There are only 7000 residents here, on an island over 40 miles in length. There is little traffic, and certainly no sense of being crowded. There is not even one traffic light, because there is no traffic to control! The main town of Kaunakakai is about 25 minutes away, where you find two large grocery stores, a wine and liquor store, two banks, two gas stations, two hardware stores, and an amazing ice cream ...

Scott's place on the west coast of Molokai is awesome. You can see the beach while doing the dishes, enjoy a constant breeze, beach chairs, a fully stocked kitchen, comfy king size bed, and terrific snorkeling a short walk to Horse Make Beach in the summer. The lanai was the chill spot we needed to unwind and remember who we are. Much Aloha and deep Mahalo Scott and Ali!!!

Booked at the last minute so didn’t have many choices, so would rate as adequate. End property, but farther away from parking and grill area which isn’t a big issue. However, it is close to the road and street lights. No traffic at night, but starts about 6:00am. Silverware needs replacing and knives need to be taken into a professional sharpener. Having said that, we think Ke Nani Kai is the best resort on the Island.

Unfortunately I sent my boys as I became ill at vacation time. They enjoyed it though!

This place is all we could have imagined and more. Being an end unit, it gives privacy, great cross breezes and beautiful views of both the sunrise and sunset. We loved the ocean views and watching the surf. We found it to be clean and well equipped with everything we could have needed, including beach towels & chairs, WiFi with smart TV, washer and dryer, comfortable king bed and an impressive kitchen. We loved the location, near Kepuhi and Papohaku Beaches and Molokai Ranch. We were treated daily by “wild” turkeys and nightly by Axis deer. The grounds are beautifully well kept; the pool and spa very nice and uncrowded. It gave us the quiet, ‘Old Hawaii’ experience we were looking for, with all the modern luxuries. We highly recommend this condo and hope to stay there again.
