Arrival after dark was very difficult. The building ID was impossible to see from the car, we had to guess then get out of the car and walk up to the building to see if the letter “B” was actually there. The unit number on the door was totally hidden until we opened the screen door. I was very nervous about that as who wants to open the wrong one at 9pm. The key box was also difficult to open. The unit itself is lovely, clean, and spacious. The bed is very comfortable and sleeping under an authentic, beautifully made hand appliqued, hand quilted Hawaiian Quilt was amazing! The wifi is great. Bath has lg. bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap but no tissues. The well outfitted kitchen is handy, but so overstuffed with appliances and accessories there’s no room to put a box of crackers, bread, or other groceries. The cupboard had flour, brown sugar, etc. but no cooking oil. Lots of herbs/spices in a handy rack but they are old and weak. There were no coffee filters to fit the coffee maker, but when requested a very nice woman dropped off a pkg the next afternoon. The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work, but an email to the property mgr got it fixed in 2 days. The pool and gas grill are literally a few steps away. This unit is the closest one. If you hear a high pitched tone/squeal in the evening, it’s coming from the hot tub bubbler jets, close the patio door to block it. In Jan/Feb the open windows (bedroom & patio) with fans keep it cool, summer maybe not.

Very nice location off the golf course fairway, quiet, easy to access in Waikoloa Village. Unit is incredibly well stocked with cooking supplies, dishes, & electric appliances. Interior decorations were great. Staff was very accommodating when we needed an extra day. Added a day to our unit with no issues. Only issue was the bed was very high with extra mattresses & I am very short. Needed a small stepstool to get into bed! Would consider this location again if lucky enough to get back to Hawaii.

Great location with easy walkout access to the pool and to view the amazing sunsets. Equipped with everything needed to stay in and cook a meal or venture out to explore or go relax at the beach. Every room is beautifully decorated and also has a very comfortable bed! I would definitely stay here again. Mahalo nui!

While the entry to the unit was dark and rather uninviting, once indoors it was attractive. View from lanai was very pleasant, patio table etc were nice. Kitchen was very well equipped and clean. Re bedroom, felt that bedding was questionable - bed too high, sheets didn’t fit and moved around. Very good drawer space, good closet. The extreme wind on one day in particular brought in lots of dust and debris. We used broom and dustpan but it was a losing battle. Outdoor table and chairs became filthy. Don’t know if that’s usual, but we did find the location too windy. Other than that, it was pleasant.

This condo was perfect for two of us. We used the kitchen every day. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of wonderful supplies and dishes. We used the coffee maker, the blender, cooked on the stove, and just loved the whole space! We watched movies at night in the comfy recliners. The bed was very comfortable even though it was really high and hard to climb into! One suggestion I would make about the bedroom is there is a big piece of furniture at the doorway that might be better if it was removed. We both kept bumping into it as we entered and exited the room. It just feels like there’s a lot of furniture in there. Also it feels like the living room has too many recliners and if there were bar stools at the counter, that might be a better use of the space. We would have sat at the bar if there were stools. Another suggestion we have is that maybe it would be good to have white towels and wash cloths so they could be bleached and sanitized between guests. We went to Target and bought our own white towels and hand towels and wash cloths because the towels that were provided had a strange smell like maybe they had been sitting wet for too long. And there was only one hand towel and wash cloth provided. But overall this is a wonderful place and we would stay here again!! Mahalo!! The Balogh’s
