John was an amazing host! Place is exactly as described/pictured. So close to the park, great place to end the night relaxing in the hot tub. Will definitely return next time I’m checking out the volcanoes.

We found Jade Oasis for a last minute booking to see the current Kilauea eruption since we are staying in Kona. They are in Volcano, 10 minutes from the best viewpoint in the park, so very convenient. The room was updated and had a queen and spare bed, mini fridge, microwave, plates, and we really appreciated the coffee/muffins/yogurt/fruit left in the room for breakfast. The owner has obviously taken care to make the place comfortable, although still with a funky vibe. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy, convenient stay and good home base for exploring Volcanoes National Park. Very welcoming host (John), who was kind enough to offer advice for local places to check out. Water, fruit, muffins and coffee provided in room (very cool). Located very close to the town of Volcano, and easy access to restaurants. Would stay again.

We only stayed one night to see the volcano, but the room was clean and comfy. The muffins, fresh fruit and water were very thoughtful. Thank you John!!
