Our Ridge Villa has sweeping views of the Pacific from Molokai to Honolua Bay. We are steps from beaches and walking distance to beaches voted best in the world, snorkeling, surfing, The Ritz Carlton, world class restaurants, church, tennis and walking or a free shuttle ride to 2 championship golf courses. PGA season opens here (former Mercedes Championship). DISCOUNTED GOLF ON KAPALUA COURSES.

Our villa has a spacious dining room with a Teak dining table seating 6 to 8 easily (we had 10 for Thanksgiving), a spacious living room with a built in queen size Murphy bed, and a fully equipped kitchen (including margarita, wine & martini glasses, shaker, champagne flutes, Keurig coffee maker, regular drip coffee maker, large crock pot, rice cooker), microwave, ice maker, dishwasher and granite counters.

Our air conditioned king size master suite has a 42" smart TV, Blu Ray DVD, and a safe that will store a lap top and/or your iPad, wallet & jewelry. The master bath has two sinks - for him and her, large shower, hair dryer, chair height toilet and an air conditioner. There is a small secluded patio off the master bedroom.

The second bathroom has in addition to the shower, sink, & water closet with chair height toilet, a full size clothes closet, full size washer/dryer, soap, an ironing board, iron, a hair dryer and - oh no a scale!!!

We have original works of art.

Our Lanai boasts two chaise lounges and a Bistro table for enjoying your morning coffee or evening wine and pupus and/or dinner while you watch the whales, when in season.

We are steps away from the Ridge community center, that can be reserved (we held our niece's rehearsal dinner for 30 here) This is where one of 2 pools is located, and two large barbecues, refrigerator, stove, sink, soda machine, books to read.

The living room has a 55' smartTV, DVD/CD player, free wireless. We have unlimited long distance calling in the US.

There are 10 tennis courts and full pro shop, not to mention the Golf Academy that is within walking distance.

Our villa is spacious (1125+ sq feet) bright and airy and on one level. Our wonderful tropical breezes keep it cool. There are beautiful tropical flowers all over our grounds.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Kathy’s condo and it feels like home! Everything on The Ridge property is well maintained. With miles of walking trails, its proximity to restaurants and two major resorts, golf and whale watching and beaches galore, we never lacked for things to do and see. We think Kapalua is the best location on Maui. The condo is well appointed with any type of kitchen utensil or appliance you can think of or might need. There are plenty of linens and a comfortable bed and furniture. Most evenings, before sunset, we sat at the table on the lanai drinking our cocktail while watching the pink clouds float by and the splashes of water from the breaching whales. There is an excellent view of the ocean and as far west as Honolua Bay (where we watched the US Coast Guard attempt the removal of a grounded yacht.) We were there for 7 weeks this winter and for two of those weeks, we experienced a Kona low-an unusual event. This is not the typical trade winds but instead, high winds and heavy rain that can cause flooding. Because of the weather, the wind noise, through the upper windows, was pretty extreme and the seal on one panel of the glass door was missing, causing additional noise. It was never really quiet inside while the storms were occurring. But again, this year was unusual weather wise. You can’t go wrong renting this condo. This is our 4th stay at The Ridge and we hope to go back again. Kathy’s condo is our favorite.

Kathy’s house was everything we could ask for. It was an easy drive or hike along the coastal trail to Napilii and Kapalau beaches. We enjoyed walking along the golf paths to the Pour House and Sansei Restuarants. The condo is roomy, clean, comfortable and quiet. It was a short walk to the pool which is well maintained and water temp was perfect. I met the nextdoir neighbor who was quite friendly, we had a nice conversation the day before we left. We would highly recommend Kathy’s home for your next stay in Maui! Maui never fails to provide natural beauty and relaxation.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home in Kapalua. The unit is well appointed, the views were unbeatable, and the proximity to two of our favorite snorkeling spots (Kapalua Beach and Honolua Bay) was a huge reason we wanted to stay here and it did not disappoint. There are excellent restaurants close by and Lahaina is only about 20 minutes away. There is discounted golf although we did not play. The owners have kindly provided access to Netflix and Prime Video. The wifi was good, so I never did a speedtest. The unit has a dedicated covered parking spot. Pretty much anything you might need was available in the home, but the beach umbrellas in particular need to be replaced. The only AC is in the master and it is quite loud (which could bother a light sleeper) but it works. There is a Murphy bed and extra bedding which my adult daughter used for two days. We did not have a need to call the manager but the communication before hand was excellent and having a keypad entry was very convenient! All in all, a terrific place in a fabulous area.
