The tallest building on Molokai is 3 stories and in this luxurious condo you are there.
Not only that, but you are only an easy stone’s throw from the ocean with views of at least three of the other Hawaiian Islands (including, Maui and Lanai).
We are told that, at just the right time of morning and the right weather conditions, you can also catch a glimpse of the Big Island.
Although we have never had that pleasure, there is nothing quite like watching the sunrise over Maui while sipping a coffee.
Unless, of course, you are not a morning person; in which case you will have to make due with watching the whales jump (in season), or, simply listening to the tradewinds blowing in the palm trees that are almost close enough to touch from the lanai (balcony).
Before purchasing our little piece of paradise, we rented several great units in the same complex and have strived to “borrow” the very best features from those properties for our condo and, where possible, to make ours very high end.
That is reflected in our rental rate but we are confident that you will see why.
We purchased this condo at the end of 2011 but have only recently (2014) started to rent it.
Things are pretty laid back in the Islands and even more so on Molokai.
Nothing happens quickly here and that is just one of the reasons why we love it.
The sign that greets you when you are pulling out of the airport (“Slow Down: You On Molokai Now”) is a pretty good indication of what you can expect.
So, it took some time for us to complete renovations and to furnish the unit to our standards.
Our condo comes complete with very attractive furniture, California King bed, 1000 thread count bedding, plush bath towels and bath robes, 55” HDTV, BOSE Sound Dock, BOSE Wave clock radio and a Dyson bladeless fan just in case the tradewinds do not keep you cool enough.
It truly has too many extras to list!
Free nationwide calling, HD cable, dedicated wireless Internet access are included and Netflix is available.
The keyless entry system will be programmed with your own personal entry code so there will be no need for you to stop by a rental agent’s office to pick up a key after what may have been an exhausting voyage.
You also don’t have to worry about losing the key!
We are confident that you will enjoy our little place in the sun every bit as much as its location.

Very clean and well stocked unit. Books, yoga mats, nice coolers, chairs, golf clubs, beach umbrellas. Inside, binoculars for whale watching, comfy sofa with a big screen tv. Kitchen generously stocked with ground coffee to get started as well as dish soap, a roll of paper towels and food wrap/ziplocks. The bbqs by pool were so nice and clean and the on-site property manager very sweet. We checked out the shuffleboard set which was really fun right on the ocean with cocktails! The floor plan of all of the units at Wavecrest can be challenging sleeping wise since rooms are on the walkways, but everyone was pretty quiet in the night and morning as they have quiet hours posted everywhere. The laundry right outside the front door was very convenient as well especially for a two week stay. Would definitely return!

We feel so lucky to find this lovely condo with its top floor ocean-front location - best in the complex! We enjoyed a lovely sunrise each morning, and sunsets in the evening. Beautifully remodeled, well stocked with every amenity one would want, quiet, and convenient. If you are looking for tranquility and relaxation, this is the place for you. Very private, yet conveniently located near the little market and lunch counter, and not far from town. We also enjoyed lounging by the sparkling pool - and the covered clubhouse was a pleasant surprise. - the property is pristinely maintained by a friendly staff.. We will return!

Perfect home base for exploring Molokai. Check in, stay and communication were excellent. Coffee on the balcony watching sunrise with whales jumping in the distance was a daily highlight ! Thank you :)

Great experience. Had never been to Molokai. Everything I hoped for and more. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Awesome view!. The only thing missing was a couple of kayaks and the ability to swim at location. There is no elevator so, be sure you are up to the task if you bring a lot of luggage ;-).
Beautiful grounds, reasonably quiet. Only one washer was working on property - the one outside our bedroom window.
Closet full of beach needs. Golf clubs were perfect for the local 9 hole course.
Would rent again.

This condo is on the third floor and has wonderful views of Maui and Lanai. It is very well equipped with cook ware and high end furnishings that are a bit aging.
That is the good news. It was quite grubby when we arrived. Old food in the portable oven with dead bugs inside. The mat in the bathroom was disgusting as it was so dirty. One night I dropped my book by the bedside and needed a flashlight to find it. Oh Dear what I saw. Filth under the bed.
I see that someone cared to make this a great place once. Now. I think no one cares. It is quite dirty. I did let the owner know this.

We had a great time staying here. Spent a couple of evenings enjoying the sunset from the balcony. Great views of Maui, Lanai and Kahoolawe in the distance. The unit looks great and is very comfortable.
