Our luxury home is located in the quiet, pristine Hawaiian countryside, 60 miles southeast of the Kona Airport and 4 miles from the quaint town of Na’alehu. It’s a pleasant 30 minute drive from Volcanoes National Park and a 15 minute drive from the famous Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, where you are almost certain to see turtles up close. It provides a great launch site to explore the hidden treasures of this large island with many variances in topography, weather, and forests.

We’re nestled amongst rolling grasslands, macadamia nut orchards and coffee plantations in the hills above us. This location offers a place free of high risk lava zones, floods, tsunami threats, unsanitary catchment water systems, and high noise and theft rates in resorts. Police and fire are minutes away, and the community is safe with Neighborhood Watch and its own Community Center and Fire Department.

Our intent is to offer a calm, serene, quiet, and peaceful environment with quality furnishings, but if you must work, high speed internet will facilitate that. This home is a great choice for those wanting to spend time in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The kitchen is so well stocked and the owner has property managers who are available and super responsive. If you visit be sure to check out the things to do nearby — there a lot. Don’t feel like you need to venture far from the house to see and do things. The onsite managers have great recommendations. I can’t wait until my next visit!

Owner was very ibformative if the island, attractions, and area if the peoperty. He was responsive and helpful with my booking and subsequent reservation changes. The property manager met us at the house for a walk through and some trip tips. She was available, responsive and helpful, during our stay if I had any questions.

You will be glad you chose this home! This is one of the best homes we have ever rented. If we could give ten stars instead of five we would. From the very first communication with the owner to our ongoing communication with the property managers during our stay, we were cared for and treated like honored guests. The home is very nice - small details like top quality knives and plush towels and fine bed linens were the icing on the cake. Great pool area- super kitchen - and great location on the south end of the big island make this a winning property. When returning again to the big island this will be our first choice for a place to stay.
