Welcome to your home away from home in our beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Located at Kamaole Sands in beautiful S. Maui ( the dry sunny side of the island). The complex is located across the street from one of your favorite beach parks- Kamaole Beach Park 3. The complex sits on 14 acres and offers a large swimming pool area, 2 hot tubs, a fitness room 4 tennis courts and 8 gas BBQs.
Our condo, unit 9-402, is 1188 sq. ft. and is located on the fourth floor which features high ceilings so you feel like you're staying in a house rather than a condo. The unit is very bright, airy and spacious with 30 ft. high ceilings. There is a bedroom downstairs and a bedroom upstairs and both have very comfortable king size beds. Each bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of dishes, pots and pans, a spice rack, cooking oil, saran wrap- absolutely everything you need is there for you. We have beach chairs, an umbrella and coolers to use on the beach. There is a full size washer and dryer in the condo.
We are on-island owners who personally supervise the condo to make sure it is sparkling clean and in great condition for your stay. We are constantly upgrading the unit to keep it beautiful for your stay. There are TVs in both bedrooms as well as in the living rom. There is air conditioning and ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms. The condo sits facing north and south so it gets a great tradewind flow so you can enjoy our lovely soft Maui air.

Super comfortable and great location Kihei condo; thanks for the stay! Only downside is checkout at 10 and the cleaning procedures were more than I had ever experienced at a VRBO, despite a cleaning fee; All in all, though, better than I anticipated!

This condo had a great location with easy proximity to great beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Beautiful grounds and pool. The condo had good kitchen appliances and dishes/utensils. The lanai was a great size but overlooks a parking lot.
Unfortunately this condo was not super clean on arrival and is very dated and in need of general maintenance. Some examples: kitchen cupboards doors didn’t close properly, one towel rack was falling off the wall, corroded batteries in the tv remote so it didn’t work, a chair on the Lana’i ripped when sat upon, curtains were absolutely filthy, screen in bedroom did not fit properly, the king bed in the downstairs bedroom is actually two twins pushed together, and the evening brought out these bugs that would lose their wings and turn into little caterpillars even though the screens were all closed. One big frustration was the terrible wifi. Even after the owner brought a new modem the wifi still did not work properly.
We knew this was an older condo when we choose to rent it but for the price we paid we certainly expected a better maintained property and being asked to clean according to a list is not a reasonable request for paying guests. I have never been asked to windex, wipe down bathroom surfaces and vacuum in other properties I have rented in the past.

Comfortable apartment and great hosts. All the essentials are there (beach chairs, umbrella, kitchen stuff, nice beds, etc). Loved the music and hula every Tuesday poolside. Charlie and Michelle are knowledgeable and had terrific advice for us. We have visited Maui many times and this was one of our best trips.
