Our upgraded one bedroom, one bath, air-conditioned oceanview unit is a true gem & has excellent proximity to many activities as well as Kona town.

Watch world-class surfers ride the waves from the beach area while dolphins frolic in their wake. Enjoy seasonal whale watching as well, and get a close-up view of the giant sea turtles that come up on shore to sun themselves! (Please - no touching them!)

Good value for the property. However, several cleaning deficiencies were noted (fridge, inside and out in particular).

The doors to the mirrored bedroom closet stuck. I had to scrub the track free of thick debris and dust. Used a bit of the silicone spray we found in the closet. Also used the spray on the lanai doors as they did not slide freely. Once that was done they worked as they should. The cushions on the lanai stools where very thin and where too hard to sit on so we bought new ones. Also the carpeting on the lanai was dirty so we bought 2 small area rugs for our feet, but took these home with us. The bath tub drain, shower head and tap all need replacing and I understand this is a problem with the Kona water, but it just may need better maintenance in between guests. The curtains in the bedroom were covered in thick dust. I have pictures. Also a mustache was along the door frame inside the bedroom. When checking the cable connection in the bedroom there was a collection of dust as well. The area was very noisy but this is not the fault of the owners.

Nice, though small, unit. Great location. Closet door off track when we arrived. Nice to have some basic food prop items on hand.

Lovely property just south of Kona. I loved having the A/C off and just having the patio doors and windows open but beware of some street noise if a light sleeper. Would stay here again.
