Our stay here was magical with beautiful morning sunrises while sitting in the hot tub with a symphony of birds singing. Beautiful velvet night sky full of stars on a clear night. Amazing Ocean view on one side and mountains in the other. Other reviews are accurate to expect to find some bugs, small lizards, centipede, etc. In the house…. But as we love the outdoors and camping this was not a problem for us. The property manager communicated well with us to stock up on groceries BEFORE driving out. There is minimal small general store options in Hana. It was a perfect place and met all our family needs. You CANNOT beat the beauty of this place and East Maui!!!!

Lovely place in beautiful setting with ocean view. Excellent internet for such a remote location. Dishes, silverware pretty sparse. Ants were a major problem.

There are two sets of check in instructions: one one the Vrbo site and an accurate one sent later by email. Ignore the website! We traveled all day and arrived at the beautiful house with just enough daylight to navigate the tricky lock on the gate, but found that the lock box contained no key! We had to drive to get cell service and by the time we got back with the correct info, it was completely dark and harder to navigate the gate, find the correct entry and unpack the car. After that it was such a nice stay the house is well built, very attractive and has everything anyone could need. We loved staying there.

The property is well located. I had a little issue getting in the front gate and unlocking the key box. There was a person working on the grounds who assisted. The hot tub amenity was wonderful and star gazing is spectacular at night in the hot tub! A new bird guide book is a MUST. The one on site is of no value in recognizing the many birds that we saw. The kitchen is swell stocked but for some reason salad forks are limited to 2 and additional ones would be a good investment. A recommended reminder to close the windows at night to eliminate gusts of wind throughout the house. The first night of sleep was disturbing as it sounded like people coming into the house!! All in all, if we ever return to Maui we will look forward to staying here again! Lovely memoires.
