We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kiahuna Plantation. This is a fabulous resort with wonderful amenities. Our place was great, the beach was beautiful, large lanais (decks), great barbecue area, gorgeous surroundings in the tropics. Our only complaint was the pool area at the athletic club. We hoped to relax in the hot tub after hiking the Kalalua trail only to discover that the pool and hot tub area seem to be used almost like a daycare. Kids and babies in the hot tub area with diapers and spilling food everywhere was a turn off for those of us adults who did not have children with us. Definitely more family and children oriented. Not great for couples and older folks unless using the fitness facility. Maholo!

The condos were wonderful, the grassy area where the lounge chairs are located was so well maintained. Watching the surfing students was super fun. Great restaurants nearby and most were both dine in and takeout. We will definitely be back!

We waited kind of last minute to book a place and thankfully we found this spot. Mark, the owner was very helpful & answered all my questions. This is a 2nd floor unit which we appreciated after coming from a floor a unit in Princeville, w/ very loud upstairs people. The space was a little small for 4 people but luckily we were out playing on the beach or exploring the island from morning until night. It’s a far corner unit so if like a quieter location, it’s perfect. It’s a short walk to the beach where turtles & monk seals lay on the sand near the shore. No, ocean view but the landscaping is beautiful. There is a convenient walk up & order coffee, smoothies, breakfast & lunch place just across the street. I could go on and on w/ all the convenient amenities w/in a 5 min drive and 10-15 min walk. This was our first time visiting Poipu and we LOVED it!

We had to fly home on August 13th, shortening our stay by 11 days. Other than that, the condo was clean and inviting. The only downside, some may not call it a downside, was the distance to the beach and ocean. We did end up paying almost double due to our having to go home early.

This was our first time at Kiahuna Plantation. We loved the grounds and beach area. Excellent location to restaurants. Our unit was lovely. New carpet and sofa. The lanai is very large. We enjoyed this extention of the living space. Our unit has AC, however we did not need it. Just opened up the shutters and let the cool breeze in. We also enjoyed the peaceful birds chirping and beautiful garden views. This property offers community BBQ areas, which were cleaned by the staff regularly and laundromat for guests use. About $6 per load for wash and dry. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We love Kahuna Plantation but were quite disappointed in the condition of this particular unit, very different from previous stays in other units. There was not a single comfortable chair in the condo-all the dining chairs are completely sunken and if you look underneath you can see the sagging. Same with the couch and overstuffed chairs. We had a lot of trouble with the TV. The bathroom was very nice. But the kitchen was sparsely furnished and not very clean, ie, mold in the dishwasher. None of the knives were adequate and we were surprised that we had to provide even salt and pepper, paper towels, beach chairs. Anway, we will come again to Kiahuna, but not to this particular unit.

This property made for an affordable stay at Kiahuna. It is on the far edge of Kiahuna, so wear your walking shoes so you can get your steps in going to and from the beach! It is time for a new dishwasher, some improved glass wear and sharper knives. The bed is super comfy! Thanks for your quick reply and allowing us to extend our stay. Aloha!

Always a great stay at Kiahuna! Such a beautiful property. Can’t stay any closer to the beach and the giant grass area is great for sunning (and napping).
