The condo is very nice,being right on the ocean is fantastic and the view exceptional.The staff were great, as is the pool and ocean. The building could use a little touch up. The location is good with small sand beaches. Having a car was a good thing

We enjoyed our stay at this Kona Bali Kai condo. The view from the lanai is amazing & the ocean breezes & sounds of the surf fill the whole unit in the best way. The accommodations were comfortable & clean, and the owner was very responsive to any questions that came up. We would highly recommend this rental condo.

Great stay , condo as advertised. As some have mentioned, little bit dated but great location. Only negative is the carpet in the bedroom, needs to be replaced. Mahalo

This place has an astounding view of a set of tidepools that always had turtles! It had a very well stocked kitchen and was exactly what we needed. The poke was out of this world.
We initially didn’t get the check in code from VRBO and were checking in very late and Bill answered the phone at 3am his time to get us the code! He gave us excellent suggestions for things to do!

The location is good, a little out of town but not too far away from everything. The view is excellent with sea turtles in the tide pool just below the condo.
The bed is very comfortable.
None of the grills work, which we were bummed about because we don't really like to eat out much.
The condo is older not a lot of updates. The glass louvers in the kitchen are rusted shut, would have been nice for better airflow since there is no air conditioner.
The pool is nice and clean.
All in all, we had a nice time, the view is definitely the highlight.

If you come across this place when looking for just the right place to stay on the big island, stop! This place is amazing! Great views, clean, so convenient to everything and the host so helpful!! We took advantage of the beach stuff left for us to use. We will definitely look for this place when we come back

The location was perfect. Close to town but away from congestion. Overlooking a rocky cove with turtles and beautiful fish. It was quiet and calm, just what we needed. The bedroom had a big sliding glass door opening onto the balcony so falling to sleep to the sound of the ocean made for great sleep. Appreciated not having to pay resort fees or parking. The owner was responsive which helped a lot. It wasn’t a high end remodeled upscale condo but perfect in every way for us from the price to the location.

I’d book again. Excellent sunset/sunrise views from the balcony. Plenty of parking. Not too far from snorkeling or other beach activities. Can’t beat location to Da Poke Shack.

The view of the ocean is just like the picture. The location was great - close enough to Kona for dinner, but also convenient to take day trips all over the island.
The condo was very well equipped - kitchen, baths, and sporting equipment on the poach. One surprise - there are two full baths, not sure why.
Communication with the owner was also excellent. Very quick responses to any questions.
Parking was also great, right under the condo.

We love Kona Bali Kai and been here multiple times. Unfortunately the building is under renovation and exposed wires outside in parking garage with the hope the building will take pride in fixing whatever caused the ceiling of the parking garage to need to be renovated. The unit is lovely with a beautiful lanai and ocean rocking you to sleep. The place could use updated carpeting or flooring as it is buckling and in bad shape. A fresh update will make this 5 star place sparkle. The owner is super with communicating after we were unable to fly back home when our flight was canceled and offered us amazing alternative
