6 beautiful rooms off a 1000 ft courtyard with a 6 person hot tub in the center. All 6 rooms have lanai's and dining tables facing out the forest. Elevated bed frames with 14 inch memory foam mattresses. Imported bali batik bird of paradise comforters. Bird of paradise lanai chairs. Private tub shower combo, push button toilets. 40 inch screen TV's , cable and dvd's. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea, water. Granola and coconut milk. At this cool altitude the hot tub is so nice with coffee in the morning and wine at night....

It was a welcome relief to stay here with a super-comfortable bed. Muffins, papaya, yoghurt, a fridge, nice shower and a lovely patio and screen door that we enjoyed at night listening to the coqui frogs. John is a kind and thoughtful host. It is very close to Volcanoes National Park which is why we wanted to stay here. It’s also just a 25 minute drive to Hilo. The hotel was quiet and peaceful.

John was very friendly and personable. The room is very clean and well stocked with utensils, coffee, plates, bowls, even wine glasses and opener. Very well thought out and the hot tub was great The bed was the most comfortable we slept on during our 2 week trip to the island. Wish we had stayed more than 1 night.

Not the place for you. But if I appreciate being off the beaten track, a personal touch and some Soul, you will feel right at home here!

We had two families of 9 guests and John’s rooms were absolutely perfect for us! It was quiet and had everything we could need for our short stay. John was so welcoming and gracious. Yummy coffee and muffins awaited us in our rooms. The kids also enjoyed the hot tub. I highly recommend this hidden retreat….you won’t be disappointed!

Jade Oasis is a fun and unique place to stay near Volcanoes National Park (3 min away). We were a group of friends staying for 2 nights in 4 of the 6 available rooms. John was very welcoming and responsive to our questions. He gave great suggestions on where to eat and provided so many cool amenities in the rooms (face wash, sunscreen, aloe vera, hair dryer, flat iron, water bottles). This was a fun place to stay while we explored the park.
