We love the property. Just the right number of people around. The grounds are very well maintained as are the pool areas and pools. Also, a lot of food options within walking distance. A great beginning point for the beach walk. We love this place!

This condo was quite lovely with beautiful views overlooking the gardens and ocean. We could watch the whales breach while we ate breakfast on the patio. The condo is nicely appointed, but needs A/C units in the bedrooms. The bedrooms are quite warm at night. The A/C only cools the open concept living room, dining area and the kitchen. We ser up fans to move the air into the bedrooms which helped a little, but not nearly enough.

There was no ice chest in condo like mentioned. The washing machine doesn’t even fill up 1/2 way with water, so each load could only hold like 4 pieces of clothing. There were black hairs everywhere when we got there. The AC unit is only in front room so had to leave windows open all night with fans on in bedrooms. Very dated & old. Bed killed our backs, you fall to the middle of it. It was nice to be close to the ocean & sit by wall & watch waves.

Location was great. Facilities were perfect for our multi-generation family vacation, however, the condo was adequate at best. The kitchen especially was poorly equipped. The reason we stayed in a condo was to cook for our family instead of eating out. We ate out a lot because we only had one 5 inch frying pan, zero oven mits or hot pads, zero bbq utensils, three trash bags and two rolls of toilet paper for a ten day, six person stay…..front desk told us if we needed more we had to buy them on our own! Not what I’d expect for nearly $7,000.

The Papakea resort and staff were excellent! The layout and view from the unit we rented were as advertised. Overall, the unit was a great layout for 4 ladies on vacation. Beach towels were not available however KBM Resorts staff delivered them in a timely fashion after we emailed them. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. However, this unit would benefit from some baking sheets, oven mitts, additional cooking pots and pans. Placemats and coasters would be an asset. We really enjoyed the amenities and watching whales from the shore. The view from the lanai was lovely and we enjoyed outsell of our meals outside! A great vacation place to be enjoyed.
