At the south end of the property near the entrance is a detached separate 2nd story guest house consisting of 994 square feet of air-conditioned living area with 2 bedrooms plus a loft and 1 bath. On your return from the beach, shower off in the new outdoor lava rock hot & cold shower. The cottage may be rented separately or along with the main home. Location is very private & cozy. Exquisitely furnished and fully appointed. There are ocean views from the cottage. Here you experience the casual Hawaiian elegance that typifies the spirit of Kauai.

We were married during our stay in Kauai and stayed at this location during our visit. The home was spacious and met our needs for a private place to celebrate our union. If you’re looking for a super bougie place with nearby conveniences, this is not the spot for you. The layout was perfect for the two of us and having easy access to a semi-secluded beach was a huge plus. The bed was super comfortable. The water pressure and heat was great in the shower. My favorite surprise was sitting on the deck and stargazing on a clear night. I’ve never seen as many stars as I did during my stay here.

This cottage was absolutely perfect to celebrate our 25th anniversary!! The cottage was perfect and the beach was amazing. There are about 15 homes on this beach and so you pretty much have a fairly private beach. There are lots of trees so easy to sit in shade and enjoy a book. Our vacation was ama ing and loved this cottage.

Everything was great- very helpful staff and quick response- the AC quit working and they fixed it right away- good location halfway between Lihue and Hanalei- the bay was wonderful with calm water and almost no one there- felt like a private beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for a loud and busy resort type stay, it’s not here. However if you really want a place to chill in a clean and cozy cottage, got it! Wonderfully private home with what can only be described as a “private hawaii beach”. You will need a car to see the island and can always go looking for honky tonk yet come back to solitude for the rest of the day or night. Great rental...
