Welcome to my Hotel studio unit at Kauai Beach Resort ( Originally Hilton) !
My ocean view unit is located on the 4th floor with ocean and pool views from inside and balcony of my place. My room number is 2416 which is the 4th floor of the main building. This is about the best view at the resort and the most convenient location with access to shops, restaurants, elevator, microwave, and the front desk. No hauling your bags or long walks each time you use your car.
A lounge room on the 5th floor ( same building) provides you with a fridge, computer, and large comfy sofas.
Kauai Beach Resort set on 25 lush acres on Kauai’s longest beach and is centrally located on the east shore of Kauai, about half way between the north and south shores. It is only 3 miles away from airport. The walk along this Beach is about 3 miles long and is quite scenic.
PRICE includes complimentary prepaid RESORT PASS and check out cleaning fee, includes access to all the facilities except shuttle service and cultural activities like, lei making class and hula lessons.

Independent owner of the room we stayed in left a lot to be desired. Slider very hard to close almost if the handle was going to snap off. Bath fixtures rusted. Constant drip from the shower which could be heard in bed. Very very dated!

Location was excellent. Halfway from Poipu and halfway from Princeville. Resort was awesome! Room was perfect. Owner is easy to communicate with and makes sure your vacation is relaxing and enjoyable. I would most definitely stay in this unit again when I come back.

Overall the property is clean and the staff was friendly.
I would also recommend this property due to its location. Like 5 min from the Airport, Especially after a long flight.

This room is as BASIC as BASIC gets. The room is extremely small for 2 people. There are not any extra towels, sheets, pillows, or blankets. Owner only provides 3 towels and 1 set of bed sheets for a week stay. If you are looking for some place to put your head at night this is it! Do not expect anything above and beyond that. The room has zero amenities for beach use. If you plan to go to the beach bring everything from home you will need or you will have to rent it.
We left a day early due to the fact we couldn’t get any clean towels without having to pay an additional fee to the owner. We asked housekeeping if they could assist and they flat out refused to any small request. Moved to a different condo for about the same cost and have a 1 bed 1 bath condo. With an ocean view. Yes the room does have an ocean view but the beach is not a relaxing swimming beach.
The bed was ok but moved very easily. The shower dripped consistently and would not turn off. There was no broom or dust mop to clean up any sand.
The resort is pretty and well kept the food was ok. I felt as if the staff treated you differently if you rented through a private owner as you receive different color wrist bands to differentiate between a resort guest or a renter.
Overall if you are looking for a nice vacation please keep looking. We stayed over Christmas week and wish I would have gone to Maui like we usually do. We thought we would give the island a try. The island is very pretty with tons to see if you can get there without any traffic. Oh and don’t expect any gourmet meals on the island or the resort.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The resort was beautiful and well kept. The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the lanai was terrific. We enjoyed the pool and beach area. It’s not a swimming beach but it’s beautiful nonetheless. We didn’t try the on-site restaurant or grill. There was a remodel underway in the adjacent wing of the building, but the crew did an excellent job keeping the area clean and we were never bothered by byte sound of their working. We would definitely stay here again.

A standard hotel room at the beach resort. Clean and functioning well.
Furniture was a bit haphazard, light bulbs of various colors, not enough soap or towels for this duration of a stay and no mid-stay cleaning was offered.
