Upstairs studio in a home built originally as a bed & breakfast, Queen bed, Full bath, Closet, Full size refrig., screened lanai with Ocean view, WIFI, Cable TV, BBQ, Coin op laundry on site, off street parking. We are located between Kahalu'u Beach (snorkel beach) and Magic Sands beach, both are within walking distance if you just want to relax on the local beaches. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing the coast. Also just a 2 minute drive to Keauhou Shopping Center which has a grocery store, drug store, post office, restaurants, movie theater, farmers market on Saturday mornings and more. A 5 minute drive to the other direction is ocean front downtown Kona. It also has shopping, restaurants and historical sites. You can come just to relax or be as active as you want. The island has all the water sports available from swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, kayaking, and big game fishing. There are many sites to see by tour vans or go explore on your own. You have the observatory on Mauna Kea, Place of Refuge, tours of the coffee farms, macadamia nut farms, volcano, lava tubes, lava flows, waterfalls, historical sites of where the kings and ancient Hawaiians lived and much more. There is 2 transit systems that run on Alii drive making them very accessible for transportation. The island has some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets ever seen. Watch for the green flash as the sun goes down over the horizon. Good neighbor policy/Quit hrs. shall be from 9pm to 8am, Noise from rental shall not be unreasonable to disturb adjacent neighbors. Sounds that goes beyond property boundaries during quit hrs. shall not be more excessive then then associated with residential area. No smoking on property. Some more information. Even though you do not have a VRBO profile there will be access to addition information including directions, check-in information, check-out information, rules, policy etc. Basic information Washer dryer is coin operated. I start you out with some simple bar soap, 2 toilet papers, 1 paper towel roll, there are usually some extra supplies that circulate and are still useful (plus a share table in the entry way). This was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sounds of the water and birds. The studio had all that one person would need to prepare meals, shower, sleep, and relax. It had a great view of the ocean - got to experience sunsets and watch canoes and boats. I love the chickens and ducks running around the property - quite the characters. I would 100% come back here. It was easy to get to the main Hwy for road trips. The parking was great (alway had a secure spot). I also enjoyed taking walks up and down Alii drive. Thank you Isaac for an amazing visit!

Loved the location and the relaxing, quiet atmosphere! The view is amazing. Watched kayaking and various boats in the morning while waking up!

There really is nothing I would change. The place was so comfortable and quiet. Of course a direct ocean view would have been awesome but I soon discovered that Hawaii is WAY more expensive than foreign destinations. So although relatively expensive for a studio, this place was a fair value for the Big Island. Close to diving and the airport but you will need a car to really take everything in. That ran me another shocking$1000 for just 9 days. Back to the place— everything worked! Washer/dryer convenient. Lots of hot water. Wonderful two walls of all screen to let in ocean sounds and bird chirps. Massive storm came through and no water got in Power went out but was restored and everything thing came back up as normal - tv and internet- no glitches. Would be nice to have a broom and dust pan for the tile floor. But really no other things are needed. Owner did it up right and I would certainly return without hesitation

Property was clean, comfortable and accurate to the pictures. Check in / check out was easy and host was responsive and eager to help. Great location for walking to beach or snorkeling. Short drive to stores and restaurants. Easy access to downtown or roads to take you exploring
