This house was amazing! Very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the pool was refreshing! It had everything you would need for a great stay. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns and had everything laid out in a nice binder when we got there. The landscaping was gorgeous and the house was in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to a lot of things. I would stay here again for sure!
U know the old saying nothing is perfect well this house is close as it gets. Family of 7 ( 5 adults and 2 teenagers 13 and 12) we had a blast. Home was simply beautiful, pool was great and easy drive into town and the beach, home had everything you needed to make you feel right at home. David the owner and host was very responsive and very nice and friendly he answered all questions we had right away.Pool was fabulous beautiful setting on mountain overlooking the ocean, such beautiful sunsets. We have stayed in some beautiful VRBO houses, this home is definitely the nicest we have ever stayed in, not saying the others were not nice because they were but this place was just simply fabulous. Although the pictures on VRBO makes the place look very nice, the home from the moment you drive up the driveway till you walk into the house pictures again are nice but the house is so so nice. If ever return to the island will definitely stay here again. THANKS for allowing us to stay and enjoy your beautiful home it is very much appreciated.
We stayed from June 25-July 7th. The place is gorgeous! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat! The home is stunning and perfectly laid out! The open kitchen, living, and dining room open to the patio- where the views were incredible. We enjoyed many a sunset from the patio. Being there in the 4th of July- we could also enjoy the fireworks show from the house. Fireworks were launched from Kailua Bay.The house was also nicely equipped, from kitchen supplies to beach and pool toys. If you are looking at this property- BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed.
We have rented VRBO homes for almost 20 years LITERALLY all around the world and we loved this house. Not only was it meticulously clean, but the check in process was also flawless. Talk about location, location, location! It is nestled among the lushest greenery. You feel as though you are on the island by yourself. The view with beyond breathtaking. (David, you really need to take better photos of the ocean view). The layout of the backyard is gob stopping. Coffee with my husband by the pool each morning before the rest of the family was up -- priceless. The birds and geckos were certainly entertaining. The garage has lots and lots of pool toys from flippers to floats in all sorts and sizes.The house has the perfect flow for a family vacation. The master bedroom is at one end; there is a bunk bed situation across from the laundry room and two beautifully decorated bedrooms at the other end of the house. I do have one piece of advice: don't go to the market until you check out the pantry. There are so many staples already there. Also, check under the sinks in the bathrooms for sunscreen and aloe. There was a lot. Wish we would have checked before we spent 80 on sunscreen for the week (which we left so we just added 3 bottles to the supply). I love that they don't throw everything out that people leave behind. It is such a waste. I could go on and on! There are not enough exclamation points to add to this listing. Well worth every penny spent.
David’s house was better than described. It was spotless when we came in and everything we needed was provided. The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of bath towels and pool towels, and lots of pool toys. We chose this house for the backyard and pool, and of course, they were the hit of the stay!! The kids loved the pool and all its toys. When we weren’t out doing day trips, we were in the pool. We stopped at Costco on the way in, and cooked all our meals at the home except for the last two nights. We ate dinner outside every night as the sun was setting on the lanai. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the first time we went to use the dishwasher, it wouldn’t turn on. I messaged David, and he was very responsive and got someone out as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was shot and he had to get a new one, so we didn’t have a dishwasher during our stay.There are only two things I can think of that I would have wanted to know myself for planning:1. The small bedroom with twin beds is very small and very hot. It has an overhead fan and a portable stand fan, but it was still hot. I would not recommend this room for an adult. Even my son was too hot in there. 2. We are big game players and brought a bunch of games to play while we were there. The inside table was too small for six people to play at comfortably and there are only four counter height chairs to use, so two people sat very low at the table.
Top tier rental. Pictures are spot on...exactly as it was in person. Very nicely appointed home with all the basics you would need to use as a base for a wonderful Kona area vacation. Use of garage parking was great. Easy to get to from Lako St, easy drive to Kona district. Very quiet neighborhood with beautiful sunsets at this location from the lanai. We experienced no issues with our 8 night stay in this wonderful home. Contact with owner\manager was prompt via text. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our three generation family spent a glorious week in this beautiful home. We enjoyed the pool, the huge patio, the outdoor shower, the very comfortable bedrooms and beds, the lovely well equipped kitchen and the air conditioning in the late afternoon. Also, this house is immaculate! Huge kudos to the cleaning crew. We have rented quite a few nice homes and condos over the years, but this one is by far the cleanest and most comfortable! Dave, our host, contacted us as soon as we arrived at the house. He made sure we had his number in case we had questions or needed anything during the week. Thank you, Dave! We were excited to stay as the pictures were beautiful. Upon opening the front door (with the easiest check in), we were completely BLOWN away by what we saw. Every inch of this house, yard, and view is perfection. The living area opens to a resort-like lanai and pool. Inside there is everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds and ample supplies. We had towels, beach chairs, floats, and ice chests. The location is close to everything but on the hill and out of the way. Drinking Coffee on the outdoor shower wall staring at the ocean was one of my favorite things. Thank you for sharing your home. We will be back.
This house is amazing. Super clean and probably the best appointed home I have ever stayed in on VRBO. It had everything you could possibly need for your Hawaii vacation. Beds were very comfortable. The pool and lanai were a perfect place to start and end your day.
We had a great time and really enjoyed the home. There was a lot of amenities and random items that were helpful for the stay. The family really enjoyed the pool. The owner was responsive. The home was in great shape. If we come back I don't think we'll waste any time looking for a different place.
The house is spectacular and a very well stocked kitchen. There are a lot of pool and beach amenities to use during your stay. The hosts were fantastic. It was the perfect location and place to stay. Will definitely be staying again.

Better than the pictures. The house was clean and spacious. The pool was a very comfy 85f and the ocean view from the lanai was perfect to watch sunsets. The house fit our large family with room to spare. The outdoor space was great and the house feels very private.

Wonderful place- good space for family to spread out. The grill was fantastic. If I had to complaint about something, we would’ve liked the pool to be a tad warmer on a few days, but the kids still enjoyed it often after days spent touring the island. Grateful for a private retreat to allow for memorable family vacation!
We truly enjoyed all of the amenities and serenity your house offers. Among our favorites were the pool, lanai and barbecue. We only ate out once, for lunch!
After a trip to Honolulu to see the Pearl Harbor memorial, and a delayed flight to Kona we were ready to put our feet up and just chill by the pool. Which is exactly what we did😀. We haven’t slept so good in a long time. Maybe it was the sun, or the super comfortable bed, or the wine 😉
We have been coming to Kona for years and have stayed in hotels, condos, and private homes. This property was clean and well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. Check-in was very easy. Wonderful views of the sunsets (we even saw the comet and got some great pictures!). Convenient to everything but away from the hustle and bustle of town. We love the higher elevations which are a bit cooler and nice & breezy.
Everything in the home worked properly and there were plenty of beach toys provided as well as condiments, etc. in the kitchen. Had a wonderful stay! The only suggestion I would make is to put a bench near the doorway to make it easier to observe the Hawaiian tradition of leaving the shows outside! Thank you for making this great property available.
This was one of our favorite vacation rentals. The location was super convenient — close to everything but tucked away and peaceful. The sunsets everyday were breathtaking. We really enjoyed all the free passion fruits in the backyard. And David is a kind and amazing host. Thank you!
The house and property are absolutely beautiful. The listing does not do it justice. Everything was immaculately kept. The pantry and fridge were even stocked with some necessities. The kids loved looking for geckos every day inbetween pool sessions. The only thing that was a bummer at first was the pool vscuum having to stay in with its hose, but everyone quickly adjusted to that.
The view with this house is beautiful! We traveled with our family and my sister’s family. The pool and backyard were wonderful, house had so many amenities, including beach supplies. There were days where we just stayed at the house instead of going out.
Everything was wonderful and would highly recommend this place for your stay in Kona. Owner is super responsive and great to work with. We had a wonderful time.

We found the location perfect. Quiet and serene. You can explore all day and come home to a beautiful pool and glorious sunsets, surrounded by beautiful well maintained tropical landscape. This house was better than advertised. Everything was perfect, we didn’t need anything. Location was fantastic, close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Would absolutely recommend renting this property. The owner was extremely polite and was always very fast with a response to any questions we had.
We had 5 adults and 2 kids staying to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. This house was perfect! Super clean, well appointed, and perfectly located made our stay amazing. The pool was a hit with everyone and the outdoor grill made family dinners easy. David was very responsive and helpful with every question/request made. If we have the opportunity to come back to Kona for an extended visit, we would definitely stay again!

This home is perfection! Very quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. I looked all over the island, and this was one of the ONLY heated pools I found, and the other places I found charged extra so this place is a real treat! The pool temperature was perfect, the beds are super comfortable with great linens, and the kitchen has everything you need. Great place - you should book it, you won't be disappointed!!
