Welcome to Hale Leilani (Heavenly Home). Our home is a stunning 3 bedroom hawaiian style home with soaring plantation ceilings all on one level making it great for couples or families visiting the island.
Our home feels totally Hawaiian - from the gardens, to the soaring ceilings, to the colors and theme of Hawaii and Kauai throughout. You will know you are on the island of Kauai while you visit our home.
Our home has a very large and open living area with comfortable living room (with flat screen TV), dining for 6, breakfast bar for 5, very large and well equipped kitchen has lots of room to move around (more than one cook can get in here). We have found this area absolutely great for entertaining or just being together!
Just off the living area there is a screened in lanai that is great to have breakfast or dinner while relaxing bug free! It's also a great place just to hang out and read (or nap).
The master bedroom (with King) is a separate little building attached to the rest of the house through a small breezeway. The master bedroom is truly a retreat as it also has a gorgeous Jacuzzi tub big enough for two. After putting the kids to bed you can be unwinding in your own wing and enjoying a glass of wine while in the Jacuzzi. When you walk through the breezeway it gives you wonderful view of all the gardens. The master also has a separate entrance to the gardens. As well as a flat screen TV.
The other two island style bedrooms are located on the other side of the living room, kitchen and dining room. Each has a Hawaiian motif queen size bed and one has its own flat screen TV. A separate 4 piece bath is also in that wing of the house.
Our home has a full size washer and dryer in a separate laundry room. It also comes equipped with Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs, Umbrella and boogie boards for your fun days at the nearby Hanalei Bay Beach (or one of many other beaches close by).
Hanalei (from Puff the Magic Dragon) is just down the road which takes about 7 minutes by car it too has many interesting and cute shops, activities and restaurants. Some of my favorites are Postcards, Bar A Cuda, Hanalei Gourmet and many more!
Every Saturday a Farmers Market is just down the road being a quick and easy walk.
They have now added an outdoor gym in the park if you want to keep up with your workouts while you are here. Also a jungle gym for the kids as well.
Our home is located in Princeville with very easy access to the Princeville Center that has a number of stores that include Foodland (open from 6am to 11pm), Restaurants, Lappert's Ice Cream (awesome but deadly), clothing and art shops, a coffee shop and numerous souvenir stores. One of my favorites for a new Hawaiian style dress or funky jewelry is Azure Island Clothing.
While you are staying in our home on the north shore you have access to some of the most beautiful scenery and hiking in the world - Hanalei Beach, Tunnels Beach Anini Beach, Ke'e Beach, Kalalau Trail, Bali Hai and many more.
Our home has cable, phone and Wifi included. Weber charcoal BBQ is included as well.

Our family loved this house. Clean, comfortable, close to everything and ton of amenities including all the beach equipment! House stayed cool during hot days thanks to multiple ceiling fans. Lanai is to die for. You won't regret this stay.

This home was wonderful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better home to spend our time! The screened lanai was a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee. The beds were so comfortable and the home had all of the amenities to make our trip comfortable and easy. It’s also just a couple minute walk away from the weekend farmers market which was so convenient and fun. One thing to be mindful of was the home did not have air conditioning. It would have been nice to have, but we were out most of the day and the fans in the bedroom did a great job of keeping us cool at night. I would absolutely love to stay there again. Great choice for your north shore Kauai vacation!

Bev and Joe's place was perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed and pretty much had everything we needed - loved the great beach towels! Quiet neighborhood. Location is ideal with 5-15min drive to multiple awesome beaches. Easy walk to the park or to the Princeville shopping center if we needed something. It took a day or two to get used to no air-conditioning, but once we did it was really quite lovely. The home can get a bit hot and stuffy in the late afternoon but the fans do help.

We loved our stay here on the island of Kauai. This house was perfect for our family of five. It was great to come home to after a day at the beach. There were lots of beach supplies in the garage. The kitchen was roomy enough for us all to work in there at the same time. The whole house was thoughtfully decorated in a Hawaiian theme. The beds were comfortable. One thing to note: there is no air conditioning. We were a little hot when we first arrived, but got used to it and used the ceiling fans and open windows to create airflow. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We immensely enjoyed our visit. The house was amazing, clean, beautifully landscaped and equipped with all the amenities you would need including snorkeling gear, towels, and boogie boards. It’s close to Hanalei which is our favorite little spot.

My friend and I have been best friends for 75 years. We started coming to Hawaii seven years ago to celebrate our 70th birthdays. We were in Maui the last six, but were so close to the devastating fires we couldn’t bear to return. We are so happy we chose Kauai and this beautiful home to stay in. We truly felt the Hawaiian experience while living there. Sitting on the lanai in the mornings with our coffee and evenings with our wine was magical. The backyard was full of lush greenery, flowers, date palms, tropical plants…and we must not forget the chickens and roosters that Kauai is “famous” for. The house itself had all the amenities one could need. The furniture and wall hangings looked like vintage Hawaiian. We had a couple of little glitches, but Bev immediately took care of them. Dean, the handyman, was just great! It was located in a very convenient spot close to the Kuhio Highway which we used to get everywhere we needed to go. We are planning on returning next year. We are so happy we chose this little piece of paradise.

My family truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful rental house. The house was impeccably clean and detailed, to a level that could be described as a brand new model home. The house design, with the screened vent windows along all of the walls, gave great breezes through the house during the days and evenings. There are fans throughout the house, and there are lots of accent lighting options. All of the facilities and fixtures worked perfectly. The only downside to the stay was a problem with the TV/cable, where the remote control was confusing and the cable box required a power cycle to start working normally again. Until we fixed the cable box, we were still able to enjoy streamed media via a tablet and an HDMI input connection to the TV. Regardless, you don't rent a house in Kauai to watch TV. The home owners, Bev and Joe, were great to work with and they made the experience the best it could be. I absolutely recommend this house for your Kauai vacation rental.

We stayed 6 nights and we loved the house. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in patio and had breakfast every morning on the patio. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and that was great because we cooked a lot. Location of the home was good and was close to the town of Princeville. We enjoyed the Farmer’s market on Saturday. It was only about a block to walk to it. We definitely will return to this island and stay in this beautiful home.

This property is 100% Hawaii. Loved all the windows and the screened lanai. Had a great connection with Bev the owner. She even sent me a text to make sure we arrived ok.
Home was very clean and was a welcome site with lights turned on when we arrived in the dark. Can’t wait to return.

Our family of 4 adults had a wonderful stay here. Everything was so well considered, exceptionally clean. The flow of the house and it’s decor has a lovely relaxed feel, light & breezy. We very much enjoyed the garden & family bocce challenge in the afternoons. Lovely lanai outlook over beautiful tropical garden. Close to the village shops - 5 minute walk & short drive to Hanalei Bay. Check in and out easy and host Bev & Joe easy to communicate with. A wonderful location to enjoy. Thank you Bev & Joe.

We loved the house and found it fit our family needs very well. Being close to a grocery store was very convenient. We loved the lanai and all the vegetation around the house, felt very private. We even enjoyed the roosters. Communication with Beverley was prompt and she made sure a minor issue was immediately taken care of.

The Princeville house is as advertised - spacious, tastefully decorated, and in one of the best and most convenient parts of Kauai. Though not a recent construction and showing some signs of age, this was a perfect base for our group of four (parents + teen + grandmother) that provide just the right mix of relaxation and accommodation. The Princeville location can't be beat for its access to the North Shore and convenience (walking distance to supermarket, plenty of routes for morning or evening exercise in the neighborhood). This would definitely be my top choice for any future Kauai visits.
